Yes, it's time again for a Tip.It Rank Contest!

 

 

 

This time, it'll be a Tip.It Rank Rank Contest.

 

If that's a confusing title, let me explain the how and what here:

 

 

 

Send a message to Rank_Contest which contains your entry.

 

Your entry includes five or six ranks you created yourself and it has to include the postcount number for each rank.

 

 

 

An example:

 

1 - 250 : Explorer

 

251 - 1500 : Common Poster

 

1501 - 3500 : Advanced Poster

 

3501 - 6000 : Posting King

 

6001 - 10000 : Posting God

 

 

 

How do you send it to Rank_Contest?

Make sure the format looks like the one above!

 

So it has to be in a quote, which includes your name. And to finish it off you put some nice code-tags next around it.

 

 

 

What are the rewards?

 

The top 3 will get a rank which they can choose themself! (As long as it's within the rules.)

 

The top 3 will be voted by the Staff.

 

 

 

The deadline is on the 8th of August. Any submissions comming after that day will be declined.

It sounds cool. Do we have to set the post limits to the ones in your example, like 1-250 is a set one, and then 251-1500, and so on? Or can we make up the 1- w/e number you would like to put? Just wondering.

You can make up your own post limits. There are no set ones.

 

Just use what ever number you'd like.

Oh, one more I just thought of - multiple/editing entries. Say I enter on the 3rd, but on the 6th or so I decide I want to change one of the numbers/rank names, or completely re-do it. Is this possible (provided we mention it in the title of the PM or the first line of the PM, something like that), or are we stuck with our first entry?

I believe that the rank can only be changed once (but don't take my word for it), so just wait for an admin or anyone who knows to tell you.

To the change of the rank. I believe this is about the reward.

 

This will only be a one-time deal. So if you're in the top-3, you'll have to change carefully, since you can't change it to something else later.

 

 

 

To the multiple entries: Only one entry per person and no editting. The one you send us first is your final one.

The old ranks aren't going to be changed, are they?

wait, i dnt understand what we are supppose to do.... so are we suppose to come up with new ranks for the post counts? Like, on top of our avatars, there is a rank, in which that ranks is based on our post count. So r we suppose to think of new names for the post count rank?

Hopefully I did it right, bit of a newbie to typing in code and whatnot, so I tried to make it look as much like the example as possible, hehe.

Will contest winners ranks replace the current generic ranks for all users? Or are they in addition to the current ranks? Or will it simply be a for fun contest, where the ranks are unused?

 

 

 

Also, are more than 5-6 ranks accepted as a entry? Say if you have come up with a pattern.
