I got to go shopping, I got myself some new skinnies, they're red, and win. I also got myself a whitechapel shirt, and a manson shirt.

 

I went down to the ocean, which is fun, and found an awesome rock, and an awesome shell. I spent half the trip in a car though, and my dad took a bunch of detours on old beat up roads, which was pretty fun.

 

It was a nice trip. I got to eat nice food too.

 

Where in Maine did you go? It sounds like you went to Freeport.

 

Not much beats Maine lobster.

 

It can get boring to live here sometimes, because where I live it's really isolated.

Today I've been doing some serious thinking.

 

 

 

Earlier in the summer I decided to start learning Italian. At first I was extremely dedicated. I learned quite a few words and a few of the differences between it and Spanish. It wasn't a whole lot, but I could probably pass a final exam in a middle school Italian course. However lately I've been slowing down and reconsidering it. The thing is, learning Italian won't do much for me. The only real reason I was learning it is because I hate the sounds the English language makes and I wanted to learn a much more elegant language.

 

 

 

Now enter French. Learning this language would help me ENORMOUSLY. My goal in life is to join Cirque du Soleil. It also has that elegant sound to it that Italian does. My only concern is that, from what I've heard, French is harder to learn than Italian. I also don't want to just throw away what I already know of Italian.

 

 

 

I decided to just post this here since I've pretty much already made up my mind, being that I'm going to learn French, and because this is probably the most casual thread in OT. I guess I just want reassurance that I made the right decision. :P

French is such a [bleep]ing stupid language, at least quebec french is, it's nasty. france french is a nice language, just overly complicated.

French... Well, I've been told it's really hard to learn. It's my first language and I love it though. I don't think you'd need to speak french to take part in the Cirque though. I mean you're not going to be speaking on stage (I think?).

Played Fable 2 this morning about noon when a repairman came to fix a few things. Also went and got some sushi with some friends. Ended up spending about 2 hours at the sushi place catching up and complaining about my new roommate. Also touched up my living room by moving a few things around. We are also trying to get like a ping pong table or something in our entrance room to add something to it. My brother and I found a free pool table on craigslist but its 600 pounds the person said so I'm not sure we're going to be able to lift it without like 3 other guys. also picked up a birthday card for my stepsister to send her. Popped the front tires on both of road bikes.

Speaking french would be a huge advantage, and if you're going to be living or working in quebec, it'd be good to know french.

French isn't that hard to learn. I've been studying it for 3 years (Started at 10, im 13 now) and I can speak fluently. I just Have trouble understanding when people talk fast. And aren't french and itatlian really, really similar? French is a root for alot of itatilian words. Or is itatilian that language that you just add an 'a' to the end of nouns and every other adjective?

My dog died last night. Yesterday he was acting normal, so running round, barking at nothing and jumping on me. Mum told me when I woke up that my sister had gone out to check on him before school, and she found him lying down dead. I'm torn between continuing to cry and going out and releasing my anger on someone. The worst part is we have no idea how he died, and it wasn't like he had been sick for a while so we kinda thought he might die. :cry:
