You guys ever have a crazyfun Friday night, then wake up Saturday thinking it's a weekday then realize it's the weekend and then feel invincible ?

That happened to me today. My day is just starting so yeah ...

My grandfather wakes up everyday thinking he is in the middle of a war zone. He then looks out his window and rejoices at his safety.

But not really, not quite sure why I said that.

I've still got a few hours till the weekend officially starts. Take that inferior timezones! :P

Also, what the hell is up with that smiley ^^. I typed ":P", and it gives me that smiley piece of crap. No, I want me some tongue.

^ watch that last sentence, you'll end up in someone's sig (see: last 2 pages of thread).

Nah, not as bad as all the people "inadvertently" saying things that are REALLY suggestive.

Me and my friend had plans to blow up this huge inflatable pool today, its supposed to be blown up until its nearly rock hard, so it requires two people. But he canceled.

He always blows me off, and now it is just semi-hard, and my friend isn't here to finish the job with his mouth.

^^See what I mean?

Also, you're not clever if you siggy that example, it was merely a humorous example. It's only funny when you siggy at the other persons expense.

Today, I bought a Danelectro Chili Dog Octaver pedal. It sounds just as good as the MXR Blue Box, but it doesn't come with forced distortion, which is a plus. Also, it has one octave and two octaves down, whereas the Blue Box only has the latter. The Blue Box seems way sturdier though, I have an MXR Super Comp and it weighs more than twice as much. This is all plastic, but it comes with a protector so you don't kick the knobs off. Good deal for 50$ CAN.

Also, thanks to said Chili Dog (why all their pedals have names related to food, I don't know), I can play Let There be Light on the guitar.

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Today I got [bleep]ed at by 2 female seniors who graduated last year and left the band, and also left all their crap behind in the band room... all of sudden they want it and start blaming me that they can't find it. I'm an officer, and I and the other officers were instructed by the director to throw any personal items from last year away, clothing and other crap does not belong there anymore. The 2 that graduated were the 2 drum majors from last year, and although they had the job did not command any authority, basically they just sucked, and they still think they're in charge.

Normally I would just tell them to get over themselves and get out of the band room, you don't belong here, but I dated one of them all last year... Makes crap complicated.

Yeah, sorry for the rant, but that was my day. And on Monday it'll get worse because they're coming in to get their things, which I'm pretty sure have been trashed because it was garbage anyway.

I remember looking at one of those last week. I've got two dan electro pedals, they're cool cats!

^^ I got 445 seconds on that game last night. My friends and I were drinking some delicious Miller Genuine Draft when my gamer friend challenged me to beat his highscore (192). I got the new highscore after only 4 tries  with about 7 beers in me, too. There's way too many black arrows and the bar the red ball balances on gets extremely tiny.

Tonight, I do nothing \'

I have a Line 6 POD 2.0. It's pretty snazzy.

Out of my price range, the Chili Dog is my birthday present.

[Edit] And it turns out it only has one octave down, but I didn't notice until I read it so it doesn't really matter.

[Edit] Nope, two octaves.

Anyways, just hung outside with my friends and chatted away the whole day pretty much.

It was great.

Today I had a pretty great time with my friend. We rode our bikes around a 5 mile radius of where we live and had a variety of activities. First we decided to buy some Big Red gum at the Dollar Store and do that thing where you lick the wrapper and stick it to yourself and let it sting (google it for those who don't know what I'm talking about). We went to see who could go longest. I lost. :( I also bought some Mentos. We went to another store and I bought a 2-liter of Diet Coke for $1.50 and we decided to do the whole diet-coke-and-mentos thing for the first time. It was awesome. Got like 8 feet high I think. Then on the way back we went to McDonalds and got a double cheeseburger. We decided to go into the indoor playground thing. We then had 3 rabid 7-year-olds body-slamming us and pulling our hair while screaming at the stop of their lungs. I am honestly still bruised from that. Damn kids.

It was all awesome.

135 for me. [wongtong's game]

It's I find it easier if I don't try too hard.

Nearly midnight here.

I feel like I'm losing all of the initiative I have. I need to be better and faster at everything.

Pro Tip : don't be me ...

I feel sleepy.

Eh' I'm going skiing next week.

Today I woke up at about 10, then went back to sleep and had some weird dream about going to some get together in a big swimming pool in the middle of a local church. There were some YouTubers there and I had a compass and a metal pipe. There were interfaces along the walls of the pool that let you go on twitter. Oh and I also had some weird little bag thing that filled with water and I tried to log into Twitter because I needed to broadcast a message to everyone but I dropped a bit of ink in the pool and it made an ink shockwave and then I got loads onto me. It was kinda... odd. Also I had to find a waterproof pen to sign into Twitter (even though I hate Twitter).

Yeah weird. Then I woke up at about half 2 =/ I had to go tidy up *grumble* then came back here... I'm not doing anything today from now, just sitting here mooching the internet.

Went to Hollister in Westfield (London). My sister bought me this for my birthday:

18916_04_253_x.jpg

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I got up at 6:00 this morning and went to my high school to help build a running course. We had a large number of people from our cross country team and we were laying woodchips down. It's a pretty large course, I'm not sure how big it will be, but it's turning out really nice. We still have to go and work on it 2 more times before it should be done though. I've got to work an 8 hour shift later too. -.-

I'm gonna expand mine to cover parts of 3 days...

Thursday, at work, my line ran very poorly. So it was a very long night. We were supposed to be done at about 8:40pm and were still going at 9:10pm with at least an hour's work left. At one point the operator even threw a lid, swearing loudly. The maintenance guys came to fix it around 5pm but after about 45 minutes only made it worse.

Last night, however, the line ran flawlessly. The operator had so little work to do that she blew up a couple of gloves and drew faces on them (one glove male, one glove female). She then taped them to the railing on the platform I stand on, and then taped the thumbs together. What a difference a day makes.

And today I'm going to get my passport photo taken and later to the drive-in to see a trio of movies: The Ugly Truth, District 9, and Year One.

Woke up this morning and spent it all mooching around on the internet, then went into Wells, equipped with my camera to the cathedral where hopefully I have some nice shots. After that i went to the store, got stuff to make a risotto, finished that, and came back here.
