I did some kinda half assed pixeling today, I'm pretty happy with what I got out of it, I think it's better than my old stuff and I haven't done it in over a year.

I was just [bleep]ing around and I got the head and it made me think of Aang but less of a [kitty], so I just kinda went from there. I can't draw bodies for shit, but I have an idea what I want to do with it so we'll see if I make anything out of it.

 

Oh and it's by no means a completed project. I've literally finished one pixel in the like 2 years of doing it and hated it.

 

 

I used to do pixel art years ago (when I first joined TIF, I believe I was like 13 at the time) when I wasn't very experienced with art what so ever. Now every time I see some pixel art it makes me want to open up paint again and go at it. I've taken a lot of art classes since then, so I'm sure I'd probably be better than I used to be, I just never seem to be able to finish a piece. Or if I do finish something, I don't like how it turns out and just scrap the whole thing.

 

 

Today I slept until 2:30. Got up, took a shower, called my girlfriend, and went over to her house. She had to clean the house before her parents got home but I kind of "distracted her" if you get what I mean. They got home about twenty minutes after I had finished and she was back to cleaning, but not finished. They weren't too happy, but allowed me to stay for supper. After supper my gf and her mom got into a bit of an argument and I got sent home (I didn't do anything, her mom just uses not letting her see me as punishment).

 

Now I've been home for a few hours and have pretty much just played RS all night.

I never hit that point of love with her. I liked her a lot, but it was by no means love. I broke up with her, gave her valid reasoning, and told her I [bleep]ed another girl. She accepted that it was time to end it, and that was that. However... Tonight was crazy. I got 8 girls numbers, 3 lap dances, and a whole lot of a food and drink. Two leather jackets and a blazer was the dress code tonight, and it worked out damn well. Was one hell of a night and I'm glad I have some girls to call tomorrow. ;)

I've decided what course it is If I choose to pursue Uni next year and go for a Bachelor of Teaching in Fine Arts. I know teaching is tough in High Schools but I also know how to handle high school kids thanks to ReachOut! and personally I'd feel better in that then Primary.

Optometrist you mean? How do you go about that in Aussie? In NZ you need a degree first, and then you do teaching postgrad. And how old are you Tim? You might be too young, I just applied and they told me I was too young, and need to get life experience first. Apart from the fact that that's complete bullshit, it has ruined my plans for next year. Lol maybe I should move to Aussie and do it...

I'm 21 on Sunday. It's 4 years in Uni to be fully qualified so I'll still only be 25 when I finish. However, because I got horrid marks in school (due to 13 years bullying straight) I will probably have to do an aptitude test for English which thankfully I know what im doing now. Back in High School I could never study because I was just under so much stress and depression I was at the point of shaking alot and staring at pills in dad's cabinet and just ending it. It was just, horrendous.BECAUSE OF THAT, my UAI was non-existent. It was a miracle in its own I even passed the HSC because when I got to it, I just had no energy and gave up.

 

I've seen teachers who are only 22, my sister-friend (we've been friends since birth and our parents have known each other since their teens) is only 21 an she's already a fully qualified primary teacher as of last month.

Nope, not a strip joint. Myself and the bros took about an hour and a half drive up north to our 'city' (San Fransisco). While there we encountered some cute girls on the street who stopped us and asked us what we were doing. We told them that we were looking for more beautiful girls such as themselves, and they told us where a nice party was at and led us there. That's when it got crazy.

Bored sitting here, decided to enter all my magic decks in online to keep a record of changes. According to the site (which is fairly accurate) my decks right now are worth about 600$ total, which is also being generous considering it doesn't take edition or foils into account.

Right. Whatever you do, dude, tie yourself down with a girl just because it's convenient. And make sure you spend many of your nights with that same girl, over and over, because you feel safe with her. And stay inside - bad people prowl the night's streets and the sun can cause skin cancer. Don't talk to girls because none of them are interested in you - and hey, now that I think of it - don't bother talking to anyone since you're uninteresting in general. That and all your old friends are boring so whats the point in going out in the first place. Tim and I know these things, and if you don't take our life lessons to heart than I guess we will just shrug it off and complain about how insignificant people make significant problems in our lives.

It's a little hard to take your life lessons serious. You live in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT culture to what I do. My entire high school was a nightmare, and when I finished I was denied entry to University and had no luck finding a job and no social life which drove me into a pit of despair. NATURALLY anyone in that situation is going to hate people who's life's are far more fun and easier. I dont wanna act or sound like a hermit but you've gotta understand not everyone share or has your charisma, charm, attitude and confidence. My dad never supported my life desisions because they weren't stereotypical Australian "Get muscles, be a [bleep], play football", even teachers thought I'll never make it in life. As for parties etc, I very rarely get to even get an invite let alone hear of any, but when I do I was totally bust and couldn't afford such as last Sat, and to top it off, Ryan's really the only mate who actively wants to go out into town but he doesn't go often either or too busy doing his gf to give a shit:

Point is, Yeah, I would rather live your life full of action and excitement, but the fact is im stuck in my life and I cant make it change that easily, especially on my own.

Got my chemistry midterm back. 93% on it, yeah! Class average was 65. He's letting people make corrections to get up to 40% of the points they missed back. So I get to move up to 96%, which will be nice. Feeling good about it.

 

Also got my philosophy midterm back. Did great on that, too.

 

Tonight I'm just going to work on some physics homework for Friday and read my philosophy reading to get it out of the way.

 

Oh, and no computer science class tomorrow cause my professors at a conference. :thumbup:

I'd only be 21 by the time I finished. And Tim, age is such a factor for Primary Teachers, you can get accepted into that course when you're still 17-18. If I had done primary, I could be teaching next year, if I taken the three year course option rather than four.

It's hilarious how people are getting their panties in a knot over "having" to pay a fee to ride the bus to school and home if you live within 2 miles of the school. The kicker? It's optional. If you don't want to pay then you don't have to. Either you can drive your child to school or they can walk like they've already been doing for the last 2 years
