Veiva
Well, I had my first hallucination. Was getting out of my bed to use the bathroom, saw a light out the corner of my eye, near my closet. Looked over and saw a shining eyeball. I'm not going to fall asleep now. First time mentioning this here on Tip.it in public, but I suffer from 'psychotic disorder NOS', though I often wonder if that's just an easy label I was given. I've relapsed several times in the past year, been fighting taking medication that has little to no effect on the symptoms (only causing horrible side effects), and now I can add I saw a floating eyeball to the list.Man, this is something I wouldn't want :\ Good luck to you. It's not fun. I've been keeping notes of most of my problems for a while now. After I saw the eyeball, I decided it's time to collect and sort them. At first I didn't date the issues/events (only have been since the beginning of this year). I'm getting 'help' but it's no use. Had to switch from a private psychiatrist because of income issues to a state-funded thing, no good. Trying like heck to find a therapist (and hopefully a good one). I've also decided to keep a 'diary' starting tonight, of my daily life. Simple things, nothing fancy, noting various events of my life and how my problems impact me. Because for obvious reasons people don't understand mental illness. At least I'm still mostly in control of my thoughts and experiences (or so I tell myself).

Arceus
Having someone to talk to (and by that I mean a good, fully trained medical professional, no offense to the TIF medical team) would probably help a lot. Keeping a diary is a good idea too. I wish you all the best :S. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Veiva
Just keep chugging along. Eventually you'll find a medicine and dosage that will work for you and you'll start to feel a lot better. Medication is part of the problem (and sadly part of the solution). Side effects vary between medications and I fear involuntary muscle movements, a side effect that can be permanent. I understand 'atypical' medications have a much lower risk, but this is a pretty big side effect and I can't find solid numbers on the rate, which worries me more. I'd prefer a (much) lower dosage and therapy, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen soon, and even then, effectiveness may vary. Of course. Having someone to talk to (and by that I mean a good, fully trained medical professional, no offense to the TIF medical team) would probably help a lot. Keeping a diary is a good idea too. I wish you all the best :S. Thank you. Because for obvious reasons people don't understand mental illness. This part sucks x100 As well, I sometimes I wonder if psychiatrists value kickbacks from pharmacies more than their patients. I swear, when I was advised Latuda, it was scripted...
Arceus
Speaking of it being scripted, if you would like to see something about it on a lighter note: The sad part is that comedy skits nail it better than the popular news sources do most of the time. Major Dash
I spent an hour last night laying in my bed trying to decide what kind of cat I want, only to realize that they either shed too much fur, require more attention than I can give without getting more than once, or they are way too expensive. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”“Mmmhmm.”
Noxx
Dear baby jesus Shadow of Mordor is taking ages to install. It's been like.... 3 hours now. Maybe more. Time has stopped.Bought it today, along with Deadrising 3. I played Deadrising 2 and didn't really like it too much, but decided to buy 3 today. Was a bit of an impulse buy, i guess. Went to a videogame store up the road from my house with the intention of getting Shadow of Mordor and Lords of the Fallen. They didn't have Lords of the Fallen so i basically just thought to myself i was going to buy two games anyway, so why not just pick a random game. Not going to lie, but i'm pretty happy i did. It's so much better than Deadrising 3. At least from what i can remember. I think i already put a solid 5 hours in it. Also it's been 50 days since my last cigarette. Pretty happy about that. Estonian dude
Shadow of Mordor is epic. Spent a whole weekend at grandparents place.Superchill.No alcohol whatsoever.Did some work in the garden and whatnot. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.I strike out every other week.Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.Randox pretty much stays rational.Etc, etc
champion
my friend and i did this thing at buffalo wild wings called the Blazin Challenge where you have to eat 12 of the hottest wings they serve in 6 minutes and you get a free t-shirt if you complete it. we did it, although it was physically painful in a variety of ways oh and on an unrelated note, i got my first tattoo yesterday. it's hella sickk

A lot of deaths. I don't feel like the learning curve is that steep, i'm just starting to realise that i'm really bad at videogames... So many deaths.... I do well at platformers though. I pretty much realised this when i started Dark Souls 2 earlier this month. I really never had that much trouble in Dark Souls 1 but for some reason i did now. I think it's because i've become very impatient and i tend to be too aggressive in situations where i should be a little more passive.

Well to be fair, dark souls is pretty much designed to kill the shit out of you in the strangest ways. Never had the issue with Dark Souls 1, after the first 100 hours or so. When i eventually got to the point where i did my SL1 playthrough i was able to do Manus without getting hit. Dark Souls punish those who are impatient. A lot of games do that nowadays, to be honest. That's where it bites me in the ass. I was playing Shadow of Mordor earlier and tried to take a bit more of a stealthy approach. Instead of going right at the target (and as a result having 100 Uruks (i think that's what they're called?) chasing me, i sniped a few around the target and tried luring him out. Takes a lot longer to start the actual fight, but the fight itself takes 80% less time because i don't have to keep running away because i'm getting overwhelmed.
