Hedgehog
He's probably in competition with Barkley for the 3rd string. I don't see him getting past Sanchez this season, especially since Sanchez has a year of experience in Chip's offense. No way he makes a play for Mariota at this point. Bradford's the perfect fit for that offense.
RpgGamer
Eagles fan here. I trust Chip and all his wacky draft choices. Its either going to be an insane year of unpredictable victory, or a miserable failure. We'll see. Thank god he got rid of Carry Williams at least Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. Arceus
The gentleman who was working at the front desk (as security, mainly) wanted to make the argument to me that the reason terrorist groups exist/are coming after the US is because we killed all the "strong" people over there who were at the front lines to fight the US and only the "extremists, scumbags" are left. Because it's totally not intertwined at all with the fact that we killed civilians over there or anything ridiculous like that. Americans get teary-eyed at 25 when the family dog they had as a child inevitably dies. Try imaging what it might feel like for your (sister, mother, little brother, etc.) to be killed or horribly injured when you were a small child and how that might make you feel about a country that had hypothetically invaded your country on premises that were later proved false, and almost dismissed as a civilian casualty. And that doesn't even begin to compensate for the differences in culture, presumably larger families/closer structure, etc. Like really man... 1 "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Hedgehog
Chip's offense isn't predicated on the option at all though. At its core, it's really just a sped up west coast offense, where you do quick, 1-read plays and up the middle runs, with the hope that you either break off a big play and/or wear out the defense. Except he sacrifices clock management to tire out defenses more quickly. Bradford is perfect for that kind of offense, as is Murray, because they're able to react quickly and effectively, and they have experience running it (albeit more slowly) at OU. Running the option adds nothing to the offense, except maybe an 8 yard play once or twice a game. You're not going to get huge plays very often in the NFL.
