Been getting kinda bored sitting at home doing nothing. I want to work again, but the market has changed and i don't think i'll be as lucky getting the same kind of job i had before. I'm thinking about checking out life guarding at one of the hotels. It's going to be huge cut in pay, like 600% cut, but i think it could be really fun.

Tommorow is my first day at the job. I still got school until Dec 8th. Hope I dont [bleep] anything up and fail on my final semester, but if it all goes well I'll be working on this contract with NASA for 6 months and possibly may lead to a full time hire after.

All in all for having a 2.5 GPA everything went better than expected

I'm crossing my fingers I get accepted into the masters program I want.

So i got my hair cut today. Felt a bit strange going short after having it long for such a long time. Before and after. I think it looks a lot better now.

It was sick!! I rolled my ankle and got some weird scratches all over my arm during Trash Talk but the show was so tight and energetic, v cathartic.

Ya'll met up? That's dope.

Today I got some decent BBQ sauce, couple chicken breasts and a bag of BBQ chips. Mix em together, bake em for 17 minutes at 380F.

So i've been playing Smite on PC for a while now, ever since i got my new PC. I think i'm finally getting used to using a mouse and keyboard. Now that's no longer the issue. Smite on Console has a reputation for being full of "shitters", ie. people who have no thumbs, ie. people who are just plain awful at the game. My experience has been the complete opposite so far. Holy crap do i get teamed up with some bad players. People who just don't seem to understand the core mechanics of a MOBA, or at the very least Smite. I'm not sure if Smite is the exact same in compared to Dota/LoL, but i know it's similar at least. Soon as i get enough money together to buy another monitor, i think i'm heading back to Console when it comes to Smite.

People are building snowmen back home...

First proper snow usually doesn't come already in October, but well, what can you do.

Been all rain and shitty weather on this side of the globe. Should be starting with the nice weather, but so far been barely scratching 20 degrees celsius.

Worked 70,5 hours last week, this week got just 56, though this week also got pretty much two paid days off.

Gonna throw some discs and getting motorcycle practical licence test done on Saturday, hope to be on a saddle by Monday.

I strike out every other week.

It hit at least 21 C yesterday (70 for americans), and the humidity must have been near 100%. Makes me wonder if we're getting a super mild winter this year, or is it going to go the other way, and we're going to get all the cold and precipitation we've not gotten for the last 4-6 months as a winter wonder bonus upgrade.

Just shows you how further south from us you guys really are.

I mean, Canada is mostly called the Great White North.

My whole country is to the north from Toronto. We have had minus degrees for the whole past week.

Went to a strip club for the first time in my life.

As it was Auckland, not too impressed. Not like our strip clubs, where they pick up supermodels n shit. That is a true story by the way.

I have legal documents and all that shit from 3 countries now. What is home?

To be fair, I'm pretty sure most of Canada is North of Toronto as well.

In geographical terms yes, in terms of where people live, no.

Pretty sure 80%+ of Canadians live north of Toronto

Let's take another example: Edmonton.

I believe 80% Canadians live below Edmonton. Yet it is 2000 km to the south of our capital.

You guys have it easy.

Also latitude is only somewhat related to weather. For example coldest average temperature in winnipeg (500km south of edmonton) is -16, it's -5c in Tallinn.

Like anything, it's going to depend on where in Estonia and Canada you are. The easiest place for any of us to use as a bench mark is probably Tallinn. Compare to our capital Ottawa, which gets colder in the winter and warmer in the summer. Tallinn is similar to my native Halifax though. Both are coastal cities with ocean moderated weather.
