I went to a talk at OSU entitled "Nanostructured Photoelectrode Architectures for Solar Energy Conversion" by Dr. Joseph Hupp from Northwestern University because it pertains to my senior thesis :o

 

 

 

That's about it. It was a good talk.

Have had a bad last few days, and will continue to have more.

 

 

 

Slept at 1:00 AM after compiling my Related Texts and Thesis on Induvidualism, Identity etc...

 

 

 

Had Chemistry Olympiad Training uptill 5:00 PM today, just got back about an hour ago from writing this.

 

 

 

Tomorrow morning, I have morning lectures on Critical Essay Writing and then again in the afternoon Biology Olympiad Training uptill 5:15.

 

 

 

Oh and don't let me forget my 6, yes 6, major assesments due in a few weeks. Term Mathematics Examination is next Friday.

I found out that the reason my internet best friend has been ignoring me is because her boyfriend convinced her that I was attention seeking, narccissistic (sp? I cba looking it up) and using her. She said she doesn't believe him now but she thinks I'm too attention seeking and that I'm too needy.

 

 

 

I say it's because she's one of the only close friends I have, she says it's my own fault for pushing all our other friends away. She's probably right... *sigh* I really hate paranoia. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Lol if you really want to say it PM it, i won't mind. Anyways i wasn't actively pursuing her, i actually gave up. I was taken by suprise when she asked me out. And to clarify the few thousand messages i'm counting every single little time you press enter on an instant messenger, even if its just "lol" or something like that.

wrong, normally when nothing but the word "lol" is used its because of two things, 1. the topic is over and there is nothing more to say, or 2. its said in response to something that just funny, nothing more to say, such as:

I feel really GOOD all of a sudden, even though it was a moderately crappy day. Maybe it's my overdose of 90's music.

 

 

 

My parents overreacted over my report card, though. Even though in all my good classes I had within three points of perfect scores, and my teacher wants me to go to AP World History next year, my parents were mad because I have B's in my three worst classes (science, math, and just because I got into the class late and got messed up, film analysis (which I should bring up to an A within a couple weeks - I like it)).

 

 

 

I don't care, though. I want to see YES MAN.

I very, very nearly almost replied to this with "the jazz duh considering its a jazz band" :wall: .

 

 

 

Anyway, my day was tiring, got to school...Did nothing of note.

 

Then I walked home, took an hour, went to cricket practice for 2 1/2 hours, played good....Yay maybe I'm getting the form I was supposed to be in last season... :wall:

 

Straight after that I had 3 1/2 hours of badminton, I was on the top court this week (its kind a tournament thing), and I uh...Well first game I played alright, against some oldish guy, then failed vs the other guys on my court, absolutely shockingly bad...I pretty much looked like a [developmentally delayed] on the court, haha.

 

 

 

Meh I'm pretty tired now, hah, might just be because I'm kinda unfit after the summer holidays.

Yesterday I went to watch 'Othello' at Leeds starring Lenny Henry. It was okay, had a few laughs here and there. Came home at 6:00pm, went to sleep for like 12 hours since 8:00pm :?

 

 

 

Today played my DS all day at school seen as though my Art teacher didn't even talk to me and my English teacher left for most of the lesson. Also got kicked out of the Study Area because I was on it... There was a girl texting on her phone and a guy obviously not doing work on his laptop so I was a little pissed off.

Ohmahgosh! At school today, this one kid (Freshman, like I am) did a dare or something at lunch. He's been homeschooled until now, and he's pretty much been just a drifter and willing to do a bunch of stuff for acceptance.

 

Today he tried to eat an entire orange, peel and all, in one bite.

 

 

 

Needless to say, news travels fast, and once he started struggling everyone was looking down to see (Freshmen sit in the Pit, so every upper classman had a [rooster]-fight esque view).

 

 

 

A teacher came to him to ask him to stop, and he was gagging a bit, with orange and juice coming out of his mouth (the teacher took about thirty seconds before she confronted him - to watch I suppose).

 

 

 

When Child stands up, he picks up his lunch bag and ejects the orange into it. Then he sorta throws up on the table (or it was orange juice and peel, only the people right next to him are really sure).

 

 

 

He gets escorted out by the VP, who comes back looking pissed, the Janitor is questioning her life, and everyone stopped eating.

 

 

 

EPIC.

EDIT: On another note, my friend scammed me outta 50 cents that I borrowed. He said he'd give me Dave and Busters gift cards, but OF COURSE, when I tell him to wait so I can find the expiration dates, someone else takes the money, gives it to him, and he runs off.

 

 

 

The gift cards were $150 off a party costing over $1000, and expired 3/31/09, and the other was $10 free dollars, which expired 1/31/09.
