Easy day. early out, going to play AoE 3 online with friends. Not much else to say.

 

P.S. Does Pandora read your mind or something? I switched to my Three Days Grace station thinking "please play Break!" And it did :blink:

I'm going to read the LoTR books. I borrowed the first two from a library, the last one can wait.

 

I'm also trying to learn the dvorak keyboard layout.

I'm the same way. Him, The oatmeal, and penny arcade are really the only ones I read on a constant basis atm.

Today I went to work... started at 2:50pm. At about 5-5:30pm my line went down and we started the cleanup. By 6pm we were done the cleanup and I went for a break (my second of the day). At 6:30pm I was sent (by a lead hand) to another line to help out a bit. After about 20 minutes of nothingness I switched out a garbage bin (they had one that was ready to overflow) and then "worked" for 10 more minutes. After that 10 minutes (~7pm) I was taken off of that job (by the same lead hand) and told to go to the warehouse to restack a partial-skid each of ice cream tubs and lids. I finished the lids and was headed for a break (it's about 7:30-8pm by now) when (yep, you guessed it) that same little lead hand asked me to help him again. So I had to go into palletizing (where I used to work a lot and now rarely do... I miss it back there) and get a skid of Skinny Cow Sandwiches to do a metal check on. 3 of us started it... by the end we had 2 join and 1 leave. 9pm we finish that and I go back and do the skid of tubs. I finish that one at about 9:30pm and go for break. 10:45pm I leave the lunchroom and swipe out.

 

And that is the story of my workday. I wonder if anybody will actually read all that.

I read it too, and he works at like, a chapman's ice cream factory I believe. Something like that at least.

 

I had an appointment with my shrink today, it was nice, and they upped the dosage on my meds, which should probably help me out a bit.

I got my Uni timetable today, a bit of an interesting mix of times, and not as many early starts as last year, which is great. I'm also taking an introductory Spanish paper, which I'm pretty excited and also nervous about. So class starts Monday, so this is my last (semi) free weekend. AH!

I hate my timetable, I have to catch the bus that gets me to Tafe at 8am, class starts at 10:00am on a Monday, 9:30am Tues and 9:00am on Wed and Thurs, I get every Friday off.

Amen to them tbh. Both my parents are on them and my dad in particular is quite unstable when he's not on them :unsure: I'll probably end up on them some day but for now I have to medicate myself with copious amounts of chocolate, like any girl does :P

 

So today I went to college, nipped to the shop and got some Mini Eggs, then came home. Exciting times :thumbsup:

My flat this year is about 25 mins walk from Campus, my one last year was only like 10, so I'll be forced to stay at Uni unless I have more than 2 hours gap cos it's not worth walking home otherwise.

Yeah, mine too. Well, they're prescribed for my dad but my mom takes some too. My friend had them too when he was depressed, but thankfully he doesn't need them anymore.

Spent like 1½-2 hours clearing nearly a meter of snow off our garage roof today. I estimate that we need to remove ~75% of the snow off our roof today or get water damage when the temperature hovers around zero on the weekend.

Nestlé, actually. Chapman's is for noobs. Or people who don't want to spend ridiculous amounts (usually C$5+) on something I can buy for a dollar (though what I buy usually isn't cleared for sale in a normal store).
