Tomorrow I get to sleep in two hours because there's some meeting thing for the teachers in the morning. To celebrate, I'll be staying up two hours later than I should and going to school tired, just like a normal day.

I got this letter in the mail. It said I was accepted the the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering :thumbsup: I'm stoked. It's ranked 19 in the US for enginnering, above Brown, Yale, and Duke. I'm still applying to Stanford and MIT, maybe I'll get into one. That'd be the only way I don't go to U of M.

 

It's weird being accepted to a school I already go to... in MN, there's a program where you can go to college full time or part time to finish the last 2 years of high school. So, I've been full time college student for 1.5 years now. I'm 17, and I'll graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering degree, with a minor in Japanese and Business when I'm 22 :shades:

So many computers. had a surge on Sunday and today we have computers pouring in. ;__;

 

One guy rang up asking should his HP Desktop have a Blu-Ray player in it. It was 5 years old so no it shouldn't as blu-ray wasn't avaliable until June '06. Then a woman rang asking if he ever called up at all and apparently they're trying to tell her she stole a blu-ray drive from them and said that I apparently talked to HP and agreed it should have one. It's one thing to lie about theft, but bringing me into it when I told him "no it shouldn't have come with one as a stock" made me rather pissed off.

Last night at around 1AM I drunkenly realized it was Tuesday night and that I had school early tomorrow (today) morning. I thought I was in for a rough morning but I woke up 5 minutes before the alarm, jumped out of bed and have been having a great morning so far :thumbsup: I could very well still be drunk :thumbup:

The week is long during this dumb course (even when I get to play with forklifts every 2nd day), and longer when you have someone who thinks salesmen shouldn't bargain with customers lower than the ticket price because 'there are 101 billion people in the world brother'

 

I want my energex job to start, especially since I'll probably be living with my girlfriend for the first 6 months close to both where I'll be at tafe, and also brisbane. Also spending no money on fuel or rent will leave more for partying. And my girlfriend is pretty cool too.

 

Ok I do have it pretty good.. But sitting at home sunburnt playing hon because all my friends have exams or work tomorrow and I cbf driving to my gf's isn't exciting :(

I feel the same way when I get sick. I'd rather stay cooped up in my room all day because 1) I don't have the energy to do anything else and 2) I would feel like a [bleep] if I caused anyone else to get sick when it could have been easily prevented.

I purposely get others sick, to toughen them up. They'll thank me when a pandemic comes.
