Didn't do an incredible amount today. Went to visit a sister with my family who we haven't seen in a while and made a seriously delicious lunch. Then we watched some Futurama.

Tried to debate a Catholic from school, not trying to get him to become atheist or anything, just to see how I do in a debate. Went like this.

 

M: Why do you believe in Yahweh?

H: Yahweh? I believe in God.

M: Yahweh = God of the Bible.

H: Whatever. I believe in him because of the Bible.

M: But the Barton Cylinder says Ninhursag is real, why is that less valid than Yahweh?

H: Because the Bible says Yahweh is real, and not your thing.

 

Welp, that was going nowhere. Won't be trying that again.

I already explained why I had this conversation. Don't be that guy assuming I'm that guy, this is not a common thing for me and by the looks of it, it won't happen again either. To clarify, the start of what I posted wasn't the start of the conversation, I didn't just approach him and say "lol so u blieve in jebus?" (though that is kinda what I did on that one Catholic forum, now that I think about it, but there I actually got some real answers).

 

On topic, I just went through the Pokemon intro with Cleverbot. Sadly, it didn't know Spongebob Squarepants.

 

Also, I listened to the Alphabet song in my head, then Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Mind was blown.

today i went to a shopping centre with my mum sister and cousins.

at some point my sister and i split up and walked into hmv only to

play marvel vs capcom for a while. then we realised we were having

too much fun and stayed away

I'm looking at surgical removal of 2 wisdom teeth sometime in the near future with a specialist for consultation, anesthesiologist, and other things I can't afford because they need to cut into the bone.

Late last night (could have been today, technically), I learned that some of the people closest to me fairly regularly smoke mary-jew-wanna. Not only am I disgusted that they'd be so willing to dirty their own bodies (my simplified opinion; not looking for debate), I feel sorta annoyed that they wouldn't even invite me! (and give me the chance to DENY THEM).

 

Anyway, this came from my prom date. Apparently she's clean (except for one time), which is good. It's looking like we'll end up together, but I don't wanna end up messing things up before prom. Things are sorta nice now, y'know?

 

Feeling confused and angered at my friends, I found that the only person I could connect with was Holden Caulfield, so I bought the Catcher in the Rye. And then StarCraft II. So maybe I can just ignore the precious things...

Been there. I just accepted my friend's decisions to do what they want with their bodies and possibly their future.

Sure our relationships have been altered, if anything a bit rocky, but still at least I have them.

Driving dad in to get his motorcycle today, then drop my cars price (again) to $1700, hope to god it sells and I use dad's XR6 for the time being. Probably the nicest thing hes done for me in my life.

If aforementioned religious folk were capable of reasoned debate, they wouldn't be religious. You know that and I know that. Trying to argue with someone who obviously doesn't understand the principles of logical argument will never, ever turn out well.
