@Dan3HitU
Remember when the new HD first came out, everyone was like "OMG" and admiring all the new designs, layouts, blending, rendering and textures of everything but now... ... Do you just load HD without actually thinking about it? Do you just take it for granted like all the work they put into it and now you don't look around and admire all the new stuff you just play it like the old HD? Sy_Accursed
I don't pay much thought to the places I've already been. But when going to areas I've yet to visit due to obscurity or because they ar new I always am like wow Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
1ink9ie
I suppose I take it for granted, in a sense, as I don't even use it.
Ezz
Yeah, usually these days I don't even notice that I'm playing in better graphics than before :P But if I go to a new area which looks cool I pay more attention to it. Although sometimes I get a great feeling from being in the resizable screen, thinking about how we played in such a small screen in the past :P [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying. Earth_Poet
I appreciate the heck out of it. There was always this argument that Runescape players play for content rather than graphics. That was mainly to answer questions like "why are you playing a game with such horrible graphics?" I think HD closed that gap a little bit. It only mildly resembles the game I started playing now. I was impressed. I was thinking if they were ever going to really step it up that they would have to move to a hardware version. I never thought they could get this out of a browser based game. Ouchy
I tried going back to the fixed screen...and could barely take such a small playing screen. ~Dan I had to convert back to it today when I was making a guide today. It was terrible! I had to squint to play properly! No chance I am going back again. On Topic: Yes, I suppose I do take it a bit for granted. Especially with the resizing window. I still prefer the fixed screen to be honest lol. Are you serious! I guess different people like different things. Makoto_the_Phoenix
I can't truly take it for granted because of the complexity of gameplay that I do. Boss monsters > low detail, tiny screen. Although I'll admit, nearly a month of playing RSHD and your eyes can't properly adjust to the tiny screen... Dormado
HD is like Rs3 for me, i pity those who dont play HD, I wouldnt play rs if it wasnt HD. Fullscreen ftw!!! The clock is ticking, and your time is running out, mortals.

DreamReaper
Although I don't play in hd very often, when I do, I usually take some time to appreciate the way it looks. Even though I really could care less about the graphics; it's such a drastic change it's hard for me not to appreciate all the work that went into improving the graphics. I tried going back to the fixed screen...and could barely take such a small playing screen. ~Dan I still prefer the fixed screen to be honest lol. As do I. I've played Runescape in the "small playing screen" for nearly 7 years. Old habits die hard.
Roseiah
I do take it for granted, especially the size of the window. I don't think I could ever go back to using the little window. I don't think I realise exactly what Jagex has done, making my gaming experience a whole lot better. I think Jagex deserve more credit for HD than they are currently getting. =D>

I could go back to the fixed screen, if I wasn't on my laptop, the screen is too small. With my bigger monitor, its of no problem at all. ~Dan : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube!

Mylez
When HD was new, I was amazed. Now it's just replaced my idea of Runescape, and I don't even realise what I'm playing is meant to be something special. I'm too busy going about my daily business : I had a play earlier, and managed to get everything maxed out without any troubles (12x10, 4x anti-aliasing etc.) I rarely play full screen now, since the release of the resizable window, I tend to fit my RS screen around my other desktop applications. However, when I use the resizable window, the RS interface seems to be translucent to the degree that when I click in the grand exchange or similar interfaces, my player shoots of in any direction. I think some things still need working on. :D
@Dan3HitU
Yeah one day it will beocme the new standard graphics. Dragon_lord
When I first played RuneScape in HD I was speechless. I'd go around visiting all the areas I could think of and awe. After a while I got used to the new HD, but last week I clicked on Low Detail (wasn't paying attention which detail mode I picked) and when I logged in I was flabbergasted. I was shocked, and kept asking myself if this really was how RuneScape sued to look when I played it for all these years. Honestly, we might have not minded the game's petty graphics, but once you get used to HD and go back to Low Detail it all seems so... bland. Now I'm careful not to take HD for granted, it really is marvelous. Yes, I know you shouldn't judge a game by its graphics, but you have to admit it is rather nice to have something pretty to look at as you click around for an hour or so. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post. pulli23
I couldn't care less for the "graphics".. However the ability to have a resizable screen (and hence being able to play rs at a 1400*1024 resolution without having to put my face on the screen to click well) really made me into playing HD. The only thing I hate is that when you click in the chat box you actually walk... (I used to click a lot in the chat box to make sure the focus is on the rs screen). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. bored321
The main thing i dislike about HD is the use of textures on items that dont need it. Some items specially clothing look so ugly some simple shading would have been enough, most of my favourite outfits got ruined. And skillcapes look so ugly with all that dark shading. The rest of hd i dont really think much about now, been pretty much everywhere and seen everything. Its just the norm now to me. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig! Obtaurian
My laptop, which is supposed to be totally sexy, has a hard time running full screen. In fact, I play on LOW DETAIL with the FIXED SCREEN. It's so epic fail that I've cut down on my playing time by at least 90%. Someone help me. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
