Bleh I'm glad my bookmark goes straight to world 99, thats one ugly woman.

To be honest it seems cartoony, as if to appeal more to the younger demographics instead of trying to assert itself as "serious". The old one looked more professional.

 

 

 

The old design which was basically letters on runestones, looked better fit for RS... Guess they grew bored with it :lol:

Pff.. It's a medieval game. The few female warriors that existed back then, werent some wimpy magazine-cover girls with nicely braided hair and a pink dress. That looks like a woman who could actually have mental fortitude to kill.

Yeah I noticed that too, I'm pretty sure it is the Legend's cape. Not that any of this really matters though, I mean look at the hilt of that sword she's holding, ever seen something like that before in RS? No, because it's an artist's impression.

 

Now I'm assuming the 'D plate' on the Jagex website is possibly now PvP armour, or possibly we are going to see armour similar to the DFS.

 

 

 

 

I don't think the new PvP armour is the Dragon Platebody, in the article Jagex released, they said it was 70+ Armour. Dragon requires 60 Defence.

 

 

 

I think this picture might have something to do with defending Varrock? That thing in the distance sure does look like a zombie. :o

 

 

 

Noticed how I used apostrophes? I'm suggesting the concept art on the Jagex website is not a Dragon Plate, but something along the lines of the DFS (where you attach something to an existing piece of armour) or it could possibly be the new PvP armour, it certainly looks like something that would give a str bonus.

 

 

 

 

 

And I don't think the picture is a suggestion of defending Varrock, it's labelled as Clan Wars, has a 'Red vs Blue' theme going on, suggesting it's PvP and the fact that someone is wearing a D plate is just to mock us a bit.

Anyone remember the Castle Wars wallpaper released right before Catapult Construction? With the people wearing helmets other than hoods? I'm thinking this is the same thing, but with Clan Wars.

A real chain mail would have been made from small rings. I don't see any small rings on that womens chest. Then again, that part is really blurry.

 

My point is, a platebody doesnt necesairy have to have plated arms too, as long as the chestpart is made from solid plates.

 

 

 

And yes, my impression is indeed that this is a dragon platebody. We don't really know for certain, but im keeping on the 'optimistic' side.

Wtf rofl...? How can you even see the centre of the body? It's hidden by her arm and sword. All you can see is a bit at the top left which is reddy colour, which is what would be expected of a Chain or a Plate. The bit at the bottom is really too darkly shaded to tell anything
