August 10, 200916 yr Two years ago I bought a Spider III, after the wonderful employee at guitar center recommended it to me. I thought it was the best amp in the world. Fast forward a year and a half, my parents notice I'm saving up for a new amp so they cleverly go out and buy one from guitar center for Christmas. Problem? They listened to the employee and got a Marshall MG halfstack. I'll admit, it's tone is pretty decent, but that's it. It has one tone. They won't let me sell it either, because they paid $600 for it. :(
