it wasn't really in a bad thread or anything, it was just the main /b/ page, and I hadn't ever used vista before, and I exxed out, but it didn't kill the tab, so my grampa goes on to show me something, and opens up firefox, and BAM, 4chan. I was like aw [cabbage], exxed out again, then went ctrl+t and exxed out of the 4chan window. I got scared [cabbage]less, cause he was old, and like, it was /b/ and I'm pretty sure there was a picture of a naked girl there. So he might have noticed, and just decided to ignore it, or had no idea what was going on. Hopefully it was the latter.

I think sometimes we see signs because we want to see them, regardless of whether they're there or not.

 

About six months ago, when my neighbors were in South America for a month, they had their friend staying and watching over their house and pets. The neighbors hired me to walk their dog every day, so I had a short encounter with the lady guarding their house for a few minutes for about a months time. I had the same ordeal with that lady, she was probably around 25-28.

 

But its not like someone of unbalanced younger stature is going to make the first move, unless they don't care about bleeping up whatever acquaintance you had with that person forever. She did stuff like giving me her cell phone # and stuff, but when I reflect back on the situation it seems that all her supposed "signs" were just things I wanted to see; she gave me the phone number strictly for safety reasons.

I don't know what you mean by seeing signs, because all I said was that before she left she would do things like tell my grandparents (her parents, obviously) that she would be over for dinner, or be able to repay some money, but then never would. Over and over. We were lucky to have seen her last year, she only made it-late, I might add-because it had been a few years since she'd see my family, what with us living halfway across the country and all that. So I haven't seen any self-made signs or anything of the sort.
