Recently I've taken on a [potentially nasty] habit of listening to Doris Day and to a lesser extent, the BeeGees.

Confessions:

Can't think of any.

Regrets:

-One time, these kids on the bus were telling everybody to sit on the left side of the bus. I thought it was just like a little joke because this was before a holiday. Turns out, they were planning to tip over the bus. I wouldn't have sat on the left side if I knew that.

-When I was like 9, I told a friend that my friends thought he was gay over the phone. He almost started crying and I got in big trouble. I regret that to this day.

Secrets:

-There's a girl I really like but I can't bring myself to tell her that.

-I often feel like I'm pathetic and anti-social.

-There's a girl I really like but I can't bring myself to tell her that.

-I often feel like I'm pathetic and anti-social.

If you ever want to discuss those secrets and possibly even recieve some help, don't be afraid to seek it. Just to prevent those secrets from converting into regrets.

I laugh at you're pathetic spending.

I've spent nearly 400$ on just my Lego collection. Which isn't alot for Legos. As for video games...I'd estimate atleast 500$ for my PS2 alone. RockBand is expensive.

Anyone wanna buy some oldschool Lego Bionicles?

The other day I started playing with my Bionicles again. Well building them anyway, seeing as I like building stuff, I need a work bench so I don't have to sit on the floor. I also have a K'nex balisong on my desk which I play with while I wait for pages to load. I'm 17 and still acting like I did when I was 8.

In the past year and a half, I estimate I've spent over £1600 on stuff. (PS3, TV, CDs, Games and some clothes, along with some Blu-rays and going to the cinema.)

Seriously, there's always someone who will spend more than you.

I regret being so shy and awkward during high school. By the time I taught myself how to be more social, it was already too late. I mean thinking back on it every person I broke the ice with I've become very good friends with during high school. In fact that's even how I met my girlfriend. I should have done that more often. :(

Imagine only meeting girls too young to date you, or already in a relationship. I was going to try something on this other girl while we were waiting at the lights to cross the road, except she looked about 22-23 Most girls I meet are ~14. >_<

confession: I'm a total bigot when it comes to french quebecers, I can't stand them, never met a french person I liked, french people piss me off. I hate them. and quebec french is a disgusting language. A total disgrace to normal french.

My confession is that I have no idea how to be social outside of schools. I've been invited over to people's houses or to hang out or whatever, but I have no clue as to what would be appropriate. Like, would one of my parents drive me there or something if I couldn't walk there? What would a friend do at my house or I do at their house? What would I do on a date? All these things confuse me. Homeschooled eight years. Cut me some slack. ._.

So, basically Earthysun is Jesus's only son.

Ah, home schooling. Parents really [bleep] kids over with that. They aren't complete idiots (well, unless they're parents are), but they're awkward and pretty much unable to function with other people. At least now you're out of that, so ...

Just go to a good buddy's house. If more than just one person is involved, all for the better. Let me think of what I'd done, because I can't remember how old you are so I'm just gonna generalize by (American) grades.

6th Grade - a lot of videogames, tossing the football, occasional movies. Feel cool sneaking into R rated ones.

7th grade - still some videogames with your friends, a lot of times you'll get more active and be in bigger groups. Going to the mall, movies, "parties".

8th grade - pretty much the same, although you'll probably start walking and biking around, picking up extra people.

9th grade - well, me and my friends are wierd. We'll sit at someone's house and listen to music and talk about nothing much into all hours of the night. Other times, we walk all around town, go driving around (make older friends, it helps a real [cabbage]-load), just start exploring the world. Now you'll start falling into a clique likely, everyone generally does. I mean, you still hang out and have friends in other "groups", but you aren't heading out to canyons with them. I tend to keep on good terms with a lot of people.

Anyways, now there will generally be a party group. These are all the good-looking people, usually wealthy, and very often [wagon]. If you're their friend, sure they'll get along with you, but otherwise it's like you don't exist. If you aren't already one of these folks, forget about it. Lotta drinking, some drugs, and piles of sex. There will be some sort of skateboarding group. They're easy to get along with. Uhh, if you're in band or theater or something, you'll have friends from there. Gangsters and thugs, I guess. Jocks, although at my school everyone's in athletics so I wouldn't consider that a clique ...Then just other groups. Take me and my friends. We drive out to the lake with crowbars and machetes and explore for ten hours. Then we go to Chick-Fil-A and hit up some hotties*.

*Note: Chick-Fil-A stands up to its name. It is some sort of haven for girls. And the food is [bleep]ing great, too.

Anyways, I think you're around my age. So you'll probably get rides from your parents, just over to someone's house that's sort of centrally located to a lot of friends. Once you make older friends, that can drive, that'll be a big help. Just get to "the staging area" and walk around a little, maybe get picked up by an older friend. Just hanging out.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Got anything upto and over 12th ?

Wow.

By that "scale" my highschool [childhood] life was abnormally bleak and I only ever had maybe 5 good friends. I generally never partied. Never "socialized", never had "fun" like you did. Maybe because geographical circumstances ? Or familial values ? Biggest friend group I ever had was a group of 4. Biggest social outing maybe with 9 people - we went ice-skating and bowling. Per annum maybe 20 friend gatherings in total.

I don't know ...

My confession is that I have no idea how to be social outside of schools. I've been invited over to people's houses or to hang out or whatever, but I have no clue as to what would be appropriate. Homeschooled eight years. Cut me some slack. ._.

I used to be kind of like you in being confused as to what my friends would do at my house. But then after going to theirs (yeah some were better) and seeing as their house was similar and some worse, I didn't care and neither did they.

As to what to do, umm like what Lent said just sit in the basement, talk, tell jokes, diss other people who aren't around (lawl) and generally raise hell. And sometimes I win money off my friends by doing things that are supposedly impossible (milk gallon, cinnamon, and bread challenges are always fun <3).

And it may be immature for 16, but we go into the street and play wiffleball a lot too.

Tl:dr version: Be yourself and do whatever the hell you want with other people.

When I flirt with girls it kinda turns into a kitten with a yarn of wool situation. Once I get the girl into me I don't ever seem to know what to do next so I just give up and move on. Happens every time....

Haha, you're like me.

Skipped 18 Business Studies lessons (6 weeks), because it was an awful subject, and I was refused a change of lesson. My friend grassed me up, and I got 18 lunchtime detentions (with 2 minutes for lunch). Bad times.

Now, I just like to relax, and tend to keep away from the stupid stuff. Bike riding I find is an awesome way to relax :D

I skipped my business class for the whole last month of school for the same reason. Well, that and my teacher was an unpleasant know-it-all.
