urbestfreind Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 A terrabyte ain't much.I have a small 2TB harddrive,and on top of that I have more storage devices that add up to give me around 3.I filled my harddrive with porn,I don't watch most of it,and I've watched more on the interwebs.The last TB has my old computer's songs. A terabyte is quite a lot of memory. It's over 1,000 gigabytes...Your average game (I'll use WoW because I know the number) is 13gb...So you could install WoW about 78 times on a terabyte hd before running out of space...Going with the porn discussion, a..err..feature length? (2+ hours) movie is about 750MB, or about 1,350 movies for that HD...That's a lot of space. It may not seem like much if you have a large DVD collection and ripped everything to the computer (which is stupid IMO, but to each his own)... A Terabyte of porn though...He must use some crazy labeling or something. I have about 15GB in movies (Then again I keep some for my friend, and occasionally share/sell with other people) and deciding what to watch if I want to is a rather tough choice.
