I don't want to lose her as a friend, and she's going through a bad time, but I'm happy with my current girlfriend, and I don't want anyone other than her.Has she been hitting on you or something? As long as she knows that you have no interest in her beyond being friends and understands that, I wouldn't worry about to much to be honest. Guys can have relationships with girls and not be sexual. In the end, I just don't want someone to think I'm leading them on, I had that feeling once with another girl, she knew how I felt about her, and was flirting back, but the thing was, she had a boyfriend, and brought him up at times, yet was still showing interest in me. I want to avoid making someone feel like that, plus I wasn't have a really good day either, getting a little fed up of one guy (won't go into it). I've attempted to get somewhere with just one girl, but failed miserably. Also, I lie to my friends about it and pretend I know all about dating and relationships. I'm waiting for it to blow up in my face when we do actually meet somewhere and they try to pick up a few. I'll probably just be silent..... Also, I'm intimidated by people who are the same age as me. I find it much more enjoyable hanging out with younger kids and even older kids. With younger kids I feel like I'm the one they look up to and that I'm in power, without even trying. With older kids, I naturally assume they're more mature so I don't have to worry about them doing anything...mean? Also when I'm with kids my own age and hear them talking about basically anything, it makes me think I should be doing what they're doing (which I'm usually not). For your first confession, I used to have the same problem. I never really liked girls to begin with. Part of the reason I'm (Confession) a gay guy now. I am also intimidated by my peers to be honest. I just like older, more mature people who can deal with my life choice and accept me for it. I'm not flamboyant about my sexuality, but if I had the choice to be with teens who insult each other with "gay" and "[bleep]g*t," or mature, responsible adults, I'd be with the adults. I also have kept it hidden that I am bi. I'm also a habitual liar and have told more lies than facts. Not too much, but even simple secrets such as these have tormented me perpetually, begging to be let free, but I know that upon their release they would cause everyone to shun me. I can't wait to escape the cruel sea of dust that is High-School, the clouds of sand suffocating me as I try to run. Spending so much energy to 'fitting in', when I really just want to say [bleep] you all and walk away. God, now I'm crying because I admitted my feeling on a [bleep]ing internet forum, for god's sake! Pathetic. I really hate myself, and I have no idea why the hell I am posting this. It's too much... Just ignore me, I don't have anything worthwhile to say.High-School isn't really that bad.. well it shouldn't be anyways. And sometimes telling other people secrets (regardless if it's anonymous people you will probably never meet) will make you cry because secrets are a touchy subject. I attempted suicide once when I was 14 over the stupidest thing in the world. Also by the time you get out into the world as a full adult people will be more accepting of gays and bis, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I'm not judgmental at all, infact it pleases me to hear people say these things because it makes me feel better about being honest myself. So um... thank you. :smile: What you have to understand is the OT people on tip.it are actually REALLY accepting. I mean, seriously, a ton of people on here have admitted to being gay/bi (just scroll through this topic, there's practically one per page). Damn it.Same, god damnit.Haha I gave it a double-take and then saw your post and knew I wasnt going crazy :) Regret: I met a girl about 3 weeks ago who goes to my school. Shes a year younger than me, so I never really had the opportunity to meet her because she would go to her grade's parties while I was at my grade's. Anywho, after I met her she gave me her number. Good, right? Usually, yes. But in this case it seems all we do is text eachother and whenever I do see her at school I am always just so nervous as to what to say and such because I am used to texting her, not actually talking in person. I can talk to any other girl without a problem, but the fact that the great majority of our conversations are texts, it just seems so weird when I see her. Although, I'll probably run into her at party sooner or later where we both will have had a bit to drink and that will take the edge off. You might think it's bad because talking to a girl while your drunk is much different than talking to a girl when your both sober. I agree. However, I think once we socialize a lot while drunk, it'll give me a lot more to talk to her about when we are sober.
