Insanely hard games

Ninja gaiden 2 for me, even on the easiest setting. It's the first ninja gaiden game i've played, maybe that's why :-k Currently trying KH2 on proud mode only and am at the 2nd fight with demyx or whatever his name is, (guy with the water clones). He's tough for me :ugeek:

That's easy actually. Just attack him after he flies towards you on his water pillers. Then use show stealer every chance you get. Later in the first when he knocks you into the water use aerial recovery and attack him. Your first attacks won't get through but your end combo move will connect. Repeat that strategy and you will have yourself a dead demyx in no time. I assume you can pass the water clones.

As in all boss fights only rely on sora because the others will be killed very early and kept dead. (at least for me I used them as shields).

I have a strategy for all boss fights you can PM me if you need help.

OT: the real game I had trouble with was god of war on god mode. About the hardest part was when you had to sacrifice they centaurs to hades in the circles. I hid in the water in the center of the room and killed them that way. All other games weren't too hard for me.

only hard pert of that boss is when he summons the water clones

This

for those who think tl;dr:

So supposedly there's a new boss of the Internet. He's called Pandemonium Warden and he's from Final Fantasy XI.

Guild "Beyond the Limitation" decided to take it down once and for all. And they failed - not because they were all killed, but because after eighteen hours(Yes, that's 18) of non-stop fighting the boss was still alive. They backed out because some of the members were throwing up from exhaustion.

Wow.

Normally I'd jump at the opportunity to point out what inhuman grindfest FFXI is(Even when compared to other MMORPGs), but the thing which caught my eye was that the Pandemonium Warden, during eighteen hour long battle, changed it's form(and thus attack patterns, skills, maybe also weaknesses, etc.) twenty times. And that got me thinking, because obviously a lot of effort went into the boss' creation - it's not like Square just drew a pink blob in MSPaint and gave him buffed stats with five trillion HP(Which they tend to do in Final Fantasy series). And I think I see the genius in this madness.

Wow, lots of answers already! ::'

I remember one very hard game (for me at least): Tomb Raider 2. I tried it once and in 20 mins I couldn't get anywhere from the first area - and I used a guide

True 10 in 10 sec is kinda hard at first but theres no real stratagy, attack, use wild dance, hope it works in time.

I read the blogs of a couple of guys that were in that fight, It's pretty insane. Makes you wonder if SE took responsible gaming into consideration when they designed it. I mean.. i've raided on a few games, you usually spend an hour or so clearing trash then 15-30 minutes killing the boss, and the boss will tire you out just having to focus intently for that long, but 18 hours!? I heard somewhere that Se intended it to be killed in shifts.. so you'd have say 4 teams that each took it for a few hours, but nobody knew about the length of the fight beforehand. You can imagine being 4 hours into the fight thinking 'surely it must be nearly dead' not knowing there's another 14 hours+ ahead of you.

I know that I'm just giving tips to the guy that can't beat him. Xaldin requires a completely different strategy and some luck to beat.

Holy Christ.

That's not even funny. People were throwing up and passing out from focusing so intently for so long... That's disgusting. I can't believe SE would do that. How can you even think of responsible gaming while you make a boss that long?

EDIT: I just lost.

Play one and youl see how much of a walk in the park disapoitment gaiden 2 is.

Another hard game: Ninja gaiden. [Xbox]

I second that, even though I only cleared it on Normal...

Literally, that game becomes easy after mastering combos, and the Flying Swallow.

NSGNONSNCNENNB Challenge from FFX(no sphere grid, which means you cant advance stats, no overdrives, which means no super-moves, no summons, no customizing gear, no escape, and no blitzball) NO-ONE has completed it yet, it's simply impossible at the end.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

2. Doom

The game is filled with enemies. Enemies behind you, enemies in front of you, enemies behind corners, enemies here and there. And you have to kill them or escape from them. Those are two ways to die. (Good) weapons are well hidden, they can be behind a normal looking wall for example. How about bosses? You think "WOOOOOOOOOT I WILL WIN THIS!!!" and one second before you win, you run out of ammo. And you try again. And again. And again.

You had best be talking about the original Dooms. And if you are, youre wrong. Or just bad. Doom - bar maybe Nightmare - is really quite easy (though I do somewhat know every level inside out). Nightmare makes it hard simply because its essentially double Ultra Violence; 2x monster HP, 2x damage received, monsters have higher accuracy, imps fireball is faster and then the monsters all respawn (though ammo and medkits are 2x also). Just use the normal shotgun over the super shotgun whenever possible and sparingly use the BFG. Utilise berserker packs to RIP AND TEAR THEIR GUTS or just chainsaw stuff like lost souls and demons since they kamikaze you anyway.

This may sound cliche or a trolling attempt, but one of the hardest game ive played is probably Battletoads. Seriously, what the hell. No real tactics or strategies, it just sort of happens as you play.

DMC3 on Heaven or Hell mode is also pretty tricky since monsters dont 'flinch' and can hit straight through your attack. But with maxed trickster, it becomes a lot of fun flying throughout a small battlefield slashing everything and disappearing before they have a chance to strike back. But those blue ghost things and the armour with the shield still piss me off.

Runescape, this is like a crappy java game almost 3d. Ok so im playing and no1 will give me money and like the super armour called rune(scape :) ) is like super expensive so yu have to spend like 200 hrs in a town called lumby, n kill men(lvl-2) to get 150. 000 gold pennies. Ok, then you have to find a city called like avvarocka, so just go west until you're lost then ask someone for the way. when you're there you have to learn how to trade. ok. but wtf? i didnt get Rune armour?? i got frikkin meth!! anyway, when you've done blah blah blah and have rune armour you like go north until you see ghosts and youll be auto teled to lumby but ull olny have 3 items. ok then u try to get a weapon. ok, go north of the 2nd town again, when you get to a big minigame called booty hunter, you go in and... WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE. back in lumby. oke, go back up and try to kill some1 with a weapon... THE MORNING SUN HAS VANQUISHED THE HORRIBLE NIGHT. k, by now ull be pissed and without armor, so go to avvarocka and spam "gif my 3k ploz!1". when u finally get 3k, go to sumthin called G.E and buy something, dont matter what cause you'll loose it. that's how far i got, n i dunno anyone who got further.
