The Runar
You've probably played at least one very hard game. If you know any, tell about it! We want to know about them! I know these two: 1. Super Mario Bros. 2 (J) aka. The Lost Levels This game is simply HARD. It's so hard that it makes you mad while you try to hop over all enemies, just to fall in a pit. It's more unfair than anything you can think of, as there's Piranha Plants before and after the pits, meaning that you need perfect timing. There's blocks hovering high above earth which you have to hit to open a route to the goal. There's nearly impossible springboard jumps. Seriously, this game is pretty much the hardest game ever made. 2. Doom The game is filled with enemies. Enemies behind you, enemies in front of you, enemies behind corners, enemies here and there. And you have to kill them or escape from them. Those are two ways to die. (Good) weapons are well hidden, they can be behind a normal looking wall for example. How about bosses? You think "WOOOOOOOOOT I WILL WIN THIS!!!" and one second before you win, you run out of ammo. And you try again. And again. And again. The Runar's (OSRS) DIY blog - most viewed Blogscape blog ever! warren211
Every game is insanely hard for me. I'm a failed gamer :| Usually takes me dozens of tries to pass a level or complete an objective regardless of the difficulty. But I do find Intense mode in SSBB (and Very Hard mode for that matter) to be frustrating beyond all reason. Not only because my natural suckage prevents me from coming remotely close to beating either mode, but because even the toughest of gamers consider it a challenge. A guy on youtube managed to beat Intense mode with Captain falcon taking 0% damage, which I thought was insane. And don't forget Mario Kart Wii. When I'm on wifi I'm on a quest for 9000 BR. Currently I'm at 8200 BR. The problem is it's incredibly hard to maintain such a high ranking. All it takes is to lose a game and have someone on your team get a better score than you and you're ranking drops sharply. Only a handful that aren't hackers ever manage to get over 8000 ranking, and even fewer manage to maintain it and raise it. It's way harder than getting maxed VR. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. I own. http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun. I agree with you about N+, it's quite challenging but I think the PSP version is a lot easier than the original flash version.
sarg1010
Ninja gaiden 2 for me, even on the easiest setting. It's the first ninja gaiden game i've played, maybe that's why :-k Currently trying KH2 on proud mode only and am at the 2nd fight with demyx or whatever his name is, (guy with the water clones). He's tough for me :ugeek: Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?! Jaziek
Alex Kidd in miracle world. Not overly hard in itself, but the fact that it gets progressively harder, you have 3 lives, no save points and [bleep] YOU 1 hit kills from everything that isnt you or the floor makes actually finishing the bastard one hell of a challenge. It takes a good hour or two to get to the final level if you know what you're doing, and with a bit of luck (you'll need it, rock paper scissors bosses WTF?!) you'll still have all 3 lives, but then the game goes, SCREW YOU, you either need to know that the inventory system is there, and know how to use it for this one instance in the game to look at a scrap of paper which you obscurely picked up about 10 levels previously with no clue as to what the hell it was for, or YOU WILL DIE. On the insant kill floor panels of death. In short, you cant complete the game, without first having completed the game, or looked at a guide to know the sequence of precise jumps needed to pass the last level. damn I love that game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OxK_2EP2K4 behold. Nenga
Ninja gaiden 2 for me, even on the easiest setting. It's the first ninja gaiden game i've played, maybe that's why :-k Currently trying KH2 on proud mode only and am at the 2nd fight with demyx or whatever his name is, (guy with the water clones). He's tough for me :ugeek: That's easy actually. Just attack him after he flies towards you on his water pillers. Then use show stealer every chance you get. Later in the first when he knocks you into the water use aerial recovery and attack him. Your first attacks won't get through but your end combo move will connect. Repeat that strategy and you will have yourself a dead demyx in no time. I assume you can pass the water clones. As in all boss fights only rely on sora because the others will be killed very early and kept dead. (at least for me I used them as shields). I have a strategy for all boss fights you can PM me if you need help. OT: the real game I had trouble with was god of war on god mode. About the hardest part was when you had to sacrifice they centaurs to hades in the circles. I hid in the water in the center of the room and killed them that way. All other games weren't too hard for me. Ponies!
klankaos
I Wanna be the Guy. Everybody go home, thread is over. Agreed. That game is absolutely insane. As a second, I'll nominate the original Flash version of N for PC (not N+, but I've never played it). It's soooo aggravatingly impossible, especially if you pick up the N-Reality mod, which adds on another hundred, honest-to-god impossible episodes (five hundred levels). Being immature is a part of being mature.

krisc6
Heres one out of nowhere:XIII.Its in the top 3 of my favourite shooters, awesome cell shading but it was bruttally hard.Theres a monastry that your infiltrating and it has to be the most brutal set of levels ive ever played. If anyone has played the final mission on COD4 on the hardest difficulty against the clock, where it becomes a puzzle game switching weapons on teh fly and not taking cover too long and the need to headshot everything, then its like that for 4 levels. Also the final level is incredibly brutal because it suddenly becomes about how big your weapon is that youre skill.
