I miss wandering around lumbridge killing goblins and selling their goblin armor which i think i collected like 13 of then killed men.

 

But what i will miss most is how nice players were, a lvl 126 came up to me and asked if i needed help with anything and i said how do i make money?

I remember when there was no ditch between the Wildy and Varrock. So when I would pk people, they would wuss out and cross the ditch, eat some food, then come back in. I also remember when there was no hole in Barbarian Village. There was just the coal rocks. Good Times. :

I agree. All of those things made us "older" players are much stronger. Someone looses 5k and cries. I lost 100k and I never traded something without a second opinion until I knew the general price.

I lost 13m back in early '06. Last year, I got muted before the G.E came out. I had 5 santas and a red mask. I was merchanting in Falador park. I was going to sell everything before the G.E came out. I got muted, the G.E. came out and rares plummeted. I lost maybe 30m? I thought I'd hold onto the items and that they'd raise again and I would get more profit. Another 40m lost.

 

 

 

I held onto my red mask and one santa. I sold the santa after 6 months. The next day santas rose. They rose like 7m from what I sold it. I bought one after this 7m rise. They dropped the next day back to the original price. So much money lost. :?

I remember when santas were 100k and blue phats were 1m. Whips were like 16m at one point. I joined a couple days before RS2 was released. I played RS1 one day and then RS2 came out a couple days later. I thought the game was spectacular as they had these updates randomly. It went from basic graphics to pretty decent graphics.

I remember walking by a bank, Varrock I think it was, and seeing someone trying to sell a Sana Hat for 200k. I actually had that much money in my inventory at the time but thought; so it's a Santa Hat, I can pay far less for a helmet with awesome stats, just because it looks good why do people pay so much??

I remember the days before membership was introduced, and a part of me misses it: the game seemed like a more friendly, casual place back then. I remember the days before the the wilderness was released, when PKing could happen anywhere outside of Lumbridge. I agree RS was much more fun around the time that construction-hunter coming out because there wasn't any major 'mistakes' that Jagex had made yet and people were much more friendly.
