What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?

Featured Replies

Lets see...one of the latest games I got was WoW in a trial version, and haven't tried it yet, so I can't pass judgement.

The game that I got the last was Medal of Honor (2010) in a preorder, and got the beta early 'cause of VIP to BC2, and...

its horrible.

It uses the same animations as BC2, the same sounds, some of the same lines in voice acting, some of the same voice acting, guns have virtually no recoil, and currently camping is the best tactic. Its pretty much a repackaged BC2 with killstreak rewards. Ah well. 4 months 'till release nevertheless.

I'll keep...playing, though.

I saw some pretty bad footage of a ton of people playing it on a load of screens at E3, and even with the [cabbage] quality i could see the gun animations were the same as BC2. The way the points came up on the screen when you get a kill or whatever looked really annoying and intrusive. And it has killstreak rewards? Are they in the form of air support like MW, because if it is thats pretty annoying. I don't know why they can't just make it so you get little perks like your ammo refilled after a 5 kill streak or something. AI helicopters or whatever just encourages camping and cheap tactics.

  • Yeah, it's pretty awesome. The game is called "I'm Clearly Not Paying Attention: Wrong Sub-Forum Addition". It's gotten some pretty positive reviews so far, and the PC port is spectacular.

  • Orcale of Ages & Seasons on the 3DS store :D First zelda games I ever played, going through seasons first and then linking for the longer version of ages :)

  • Total Steam sale loot:   The Dead Linger Papers, Please FTL Surgeon Simulator 2013 Thief: Deadly Shadows Deus Ex Euro Truck Simulator 2 Prison Architect Call of Duty: United Offensive   The fact that

Nvm lol I just pre ordered it for beta access. I'll just cancel if its crap, what a bad way of doing it, they should have made it downloadable to everyone or only for VIP BC2 holders or something.

Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney Investigations.

I bought it the day it came out, anddd I still didn't beat the second case.

Granted, I recently lost my DS, but still. OTL

It looks like a mod for BC2.

Got Penumbra: Black Plague. God. [bleep]ing. DAMMIT!

I had never been so scared playing a videogame before, and I have played Silent Hill and Fatal Frame alone, at 3 am in the middle of nowhere.

The Suffering creeped my friend out to the point of not playing anymore. It's a good thing he only rented it, because he wouldn't have touched it again. Not that I was eager to play it after watching him.

I've been playing my copy of Sonic Mega Collection, more specifically Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I can't help it, it just keeps me wanting more.

I've been playing BioShock 2 online. Damn it's fun.

The feeling you get when you first blow up a spanish face is priceless

I've been playing Guitar Hero 2 and 3. I'm fairly new to the series so I've just been 5-starring the songs on medium for now. I've also been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance with my brothers because I felt like doing an RPG. I gotta say... never seen a 360 game with so many freaking glitches. Still beats playing Oblivion though. :???:

Haha, a few post above reminded me on the suffering, I used to ahve that but it didn't work on vista but turns out there was a patch... so I'm re-downloading it now and gonna try and play it on Windows 7, it should work with the patch I reckon but I'll have to see :P.

At the moment, I am playing crash bandicoot and Ocarina of Time back-to-back on emulators (don't have the originals :(). Zelda can get really friggin hard at points, but it is a lot of fun, and crash helps me wind down when I'm stuck in a dungeon on Zelda to wind down and think it through a bit more clearly.

Just finished Abe's Exoddus as well (best game ever) and saved all 300 mudokons! That's around the 12'th time I've done that now lol.

Finally beat Assassin's Creed. Ubisoft really knows how to screw up what could have been a decent game.

Just finished up Tales of the Abyss. Decent game

[hide=spoilers]

I seriously was thinking that the Absorption gate was the end. It looked and sounded like the very defiantly final dungeon, the intro sequence for the fight with Van looked like a final boss intro; I mean for godsake, the man was playing a godamned ORGAN. But it didn't fool me completely. Why? Because all JRPG's are 40 hours long. No exceptions.[/hide]

Congratulations. You have done something I'll never do. Most overrated game ever. Ever.

I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it sucked that bad, but I was deceived by all the good ratings. I did enjoy killing the main targets and following the story, but literally everything else in between (the flags, clumsy maneuverability, annoying guards, mental people who push you, timed assassination missions, etc.) really took a toll on my mental state. I don't think I ever swore at a game that much before.

Singularity is literally the [cabbage]. Its a mashup of L4d, Dead Space, MW/Shoot-em-ups, and sort of Portal all mashed together.

Beat the campaign the day I got it, was pretty interesting in my opinion.

My only complaint is that there online servers for the Xbox dont work well, It takes forever to find a match. I hope its fixed soon!

Well worth the buy.

They actually did well in terms of making you think the game was over. There weren't many, if any at all, obvious loose ends lying around.

Give or take a few locations that you don't get to visit until the second half

The whole Van not having a second form thing there also threw it off. In addition to all JRPGs being 40 hours long, the final boss always transforms

Ah yes, there was the Radiation gate too. I had a map of the world open in a browser next to me with the radiation gate listed as a location on there so that casted some doubt as well.

It was actually a pretty unique experience I must say, having everything be wrapped up like that as if it's the end of the game and then watching everything rapidly fall apart. Also kind of maddening to find out that ALL of the God-Generals had apparently survived... including Sync. The [bleep]?
