November 9, 200817 yr This morning I hit my little toes (the two smallest ones, on my left foot) on the side of a door. I was turning to go out of the door and hit it on the corner... For a few hours it was really hard to walk on and now it doesn't hurt as much, so what do you think? Are they really broken? I won't go to the doctor, because they'll just say tape it or some such. If I try to bend it or stretch my foot/toes, it hurts a lot, also when I go down/up stairs it hurts more than before. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube
November 9, 200817 yr I would just say, tape your toes and let them heal for a day or two and try not to bend them. I can't personally say if they are broken as I've never broken mine or know someone who has broken their toes.
November 9, 200817 yr If it was broken, you'd know. But for piece of mind, go see a medical professional. I doubt any one can give a diagnosis on a physical injury over the Internet, least of all on Tip.It. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
November 9, 200817 yr Something tells me you've never broken a bone before in your life. A great ending to a great series.
November 9, 200817 yr I had that a while ago with my big toe, I hit a bench with it trying to kick a ball kinda hard. Hurt like hell all day but was completely healed 2 days later. I suggest you just wait, if the pain's still there after a week or something go see a doctor. Something tells me you've never broken a bone before in your life. [i.e., get over it [kitty]] I know someone who broke a little bone somewhere in his foot and walked around with it for like 2 months. When he finally went to a doctor because it kept hurting, they took pics and it turned out he'd broken something. It doesn't always have to hurt like mad, really.

I've heard stories of the same thing. Yea my dad once broke his thumb and just thought it was "badly bruised" for about two weeks before he got it checked out by a doctor and found it was broken. Anyways, you should probably go and have it checked out just in case it is broken to avoid any long term damage. I doubt any one can give a diagnosis on a physical injury over the Internet, least of all on Tip.It. I broke my arm, and didn't realize it was broken until 2 weeks later. They almost had to re-break it. Same happened with my foot. Of course, these were both hairline fractures. If they were compound fractures, I'm pretty sure I'd just cry my eyes out. November 9, 200817 yr Eh, I've broken my wrist before and even doctors only thought I'd sprained it until I got an X-ray because of the hurts. You should get an X-ray. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

They almost had to re-break it. Same happened with my foot. Of course, these were both hairline fractures. If they were compound fractures, I'm pretty sure I'd just cry my eyes out. Hahaha, yea; I broke my arm once with my jacket on and my arm literally dangled mid-forearm down if I didn't hold it up. So walked home to get a ride to the hospital bawwwling and my parents were just "put some ice on it", when I let go to show them my arm bending the wrong way  Back on topic, your foot isn't broken. Some people have those "tough man" stories, where they walk around with broken feet, but they're just blowing air.
November 10, 200817 yr My brother had a broken vertabrae in his neck (he's a hockey golie) for days without knowing it. He was literaly walking around with a neck with a craked vertabrae. Now it hurt him alot, but the family doctor said it was just 'something' (which I dont rember) so come back in a week. He got an X-ray at teh childrens hospital when it got worse and sure enough he had a broken neck. Now if your toe was broken, you'd probably be in alot more pain and I figure you would know it. Tape the foot and let it get better. As a point of interest, you might have cracked a toe bone. That would probably hurn alot, but not as much as a break. So definatly tape it or something.
November 10, 200817 yr Keep it broken tbh. I broke my toe w/o knowing it, and now its longer than my big toe. :twss:. Now I can say I got one foot from one side of the family, and one foot from the other (yes it is genetic in my family to have your index toe longer than your big toe). :twss: ---[/my own stupidity]--- Wrap it up and ice it if you want to if its swelling. Avoid walking directly on it for a week or two. That's what a doctor would probably say. Its not that big of a deal, unless its completely smashed.
November 10, 200817 yr If it was broken, you'd know. That's what they always say. Believe me, it's very frequent where a person breaks something minor and doesn't know about it until they see a doctor some time later because the pain didn't go away. I was playing basketball a year ago and injured my finger going for a rebound against a guy a foot taller than me. At that time I was too into the game to feel anything more than a bit of pain. It's happened before, as far as I was concerned it was a minor jam and would go away eventually. Well two days go by and the swelling didn't go away and the middle of the finger was turning blue. So I went to a doctor and found out I broke it. Jamming a finger or toe is very common and the pain of a broken digit is almost the same as a jammed one. So chances are you'd have to wait to see if the pain goes away, then see a doctor after a day or two. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it.
