Honestly, not liking it so far.

 Good man.

The fourth book, I mean. Twilight in general, I don't mind.

So, retract your statement, if you must.

My SO took 2 weeks to read the final book, where-as she got through the other 3 in a little over a day each... she said it just dragged on and on and on ... nth.

She didn't like the series over-all but the first book was okay, according to her. I haven't read any of them so I can't comment on the books, but the movie was ah... a waste of time and bandwidth. I would've prefered to waste the money at the cinema than waste my downloads. At least we could've skipped out on Twilight for another movie.

This thread's kind dying/dead. :/

We'll sneak out while they sleep

And sail off in the night.

We'll come clean and start over the rest of our lives.

When we're gone, we'll stay gone.

Out of sight, out of mind.

It's not too late,

We have the rest of our lives.

Just let it die. Are you so determined to keep it alive? Is Twilight so amazing that you must make sure it lasts for 10 years from now? :shame:

i've only read the first and second book completley, but i've read two-three chapters in the fourth book already, wich, by the way, was the first i ever read of twilight. I read them soley in english, i find them much more interesting and easy to read than compared to my native language.

Just saw the movie. Impressions:

+ They were just right on some cast members, Emmet, Jessica, And Billy among others.

+ The tension in some scenes are just right, though they are messing many scenes up with small clips where they look totally indifferent.

+ The mood as a whole goes more or less the same as in the book, wich is good work.

+ Some lines are perfectly delivered.

+ The actors match on screen very nicley, apart from the white waitress in the other town (dont know why.. lol).

+ I enjoyed it!

- The credits are my favourite scene, even though the movie was thumbs up.

- They are shaking way too much, to the point it's ridiculous.

- They missed on some vital storypoints.

- Everyone looks so stiff on scene and does'nt show any sort of exessive body-language apart from the frequent spasms. Sometimes i wondered if they were afraid to move.

- Bad guy looks weak and should seriously be jumping around swinging fists and shoes like a chinese more.

- Edward, seriously. He's supposed to be tense, not shaking and blushing.

- Vampires are f*ing badass, not glimmering like some cheap toy for 6 yr old girls. it's just... just wrong.. seriously, glitter? sheeesh... at least he should crystalize, that'd been much better if pulled off right. At the VERY least, the glimmer could've been just a teeny bit more subtle. This is so not vampirish, dont like the concept..

The fourth book is the only one I have even tried to read...I couldn't even finish it...it was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. It's like Stephenie Meyer was to lazy to write another book, so went to Fan Fiction.net and made someone else write it. It was baaaaaaad.

I still don't understand why Edward sparkles in the movie...my mom says it's because the sun was shining on him, but the sun shines on me and I don't sparkle. I am sorry, but sparkly vampires are not cool at all. After watching it, to get the bad taste out of my mouth I had to read Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of the Necroscope books (a great series if anyone is interested) and watch one of the Christopher Lee Dracula movies.

Vampires were never meant to be sparkly.

Edward is not a vampire. I dismiss Stephenie Meyer's heresy against my race.

I does not leikz Twilight, but I do respect those who enjoy it. To me its a crazy fad, like Harry Potter.

Harry Potter isn't that much of a fad. Though it has fangirls like Twilight does, I don't think you see HP fangirls doing this:

[hide=]This is a true story that happened to my cousin, Jessica, in Seattle. She has a huge crush on Robert Pattinson and absolutely loves the character of Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. Jessica went to a workshop with her aunt and learned how to make love spells and love charms.

She made a Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen love charm and within two weeks a new guy transferred to her high school and he is almost a Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen lookalike! Not only that, but he ended up in her English class and was assigned to her essay critique group, which has four students in it. She tells me that they are getting to know each other, but it is a little slow because he is really shy! She says he is very sweet and writes amazing poetry. He hasn't made a lot of friends, but all of the girls like him and, so far, he only talks to Jessica in English class--he doesn't talk to any of the other girls who also totally adore him. She is going to keep me posted on the story!

Here is her Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen Love Spell (Love Charm):

You can use a small pouch, a small box, or even a small plastic baggie or sandwich bag for this love spell.

1. Find a picture of Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen on the internet and print it out or find a picture in a magazine and cut it out.

2. Fold the picture until it is very small and then place it in the bag or small box.

3. Cut a tiny piece of material from one of your clothing items--a piece of a shirt or pants or something more intimate (!) and place it in the bag or small box.

4. Take a pinch of one of these kitchen spices: cinnamon or nutmeg or ginger or cumin or sage or rosesmary and add it.

5. Find a piece of blue yarn or blue ribbon or blue string and measure exactly 2 inches and cut it. Make one knot somewhere in the yarn, ribbon, or string and then place it in the bag or small box.

6. Write the word "Love" using any color of ink on a small scrap of white paper. Write it in your best handwriting, fold the paper until it is really small and place it in the bag or small box.

7. Add one pinch of salt .

8. Add a small smooth stone or rock.

9. And last, put in something very tiny from your room. This can be a piece of anything that is special to you in some way. It is important that no one else knows what this item is. Keep it secret.

Now say three times in a quiet voice as you hold your love charm:

"I love you, Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen."

Place the love charm / love spell under your bed or in your closet so that no one will see it. If nothing happens within 4 weeks, take it out and add a fresh pinch of the kitchen spice and repeat "I love you, Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen" three more times.

Wait and see what happens!

In case you are nervous about this love spell being "magic" or you are a Christian, this love charm / love spell is not witchcraft, but is based on an old folk custom that was performed a long time ago in West Virginia when young women were thinking about choosing a husband. Your great great grandmother may have made a love charm when she fell in love with your great great grandfather!

Good Luck!
