So how did you guys come across runescape?

 

My friend used to play this and invited me to play

 

I played and then found out boring after cutting all the trees on tutorial island

 

Decided to give it another chance and i got hooked

A friend told me. What i wanna know is how the original people found out. Most of them were from America, so it doesn't make much sense...

well you see i was looking at some p0rn and then i stumbled upon...

 

 

 

but really, i had a friend tell me...he later quit the next week, but i still play

I was very bored at first, but soon enough, I got hooked.

A friend was talking to me about Runescape for months, and I wanted to sign up. My parents didn't let me, and for some reason, I didn't have the guts to do it myself. For some reason my friend said that there are probably viruses when you download it. Well, you don't need to download it, but I didn't know that, and he didn't even know that. After a while, I went for it, and, there were no viruses.

in 7th grade, i had this gang of friends that talked about it. i decided to join in and they introduced to me very briefly. i had about 6 friends (including my brother) that was playing runescape. right now, everyone quitted except me.

EDIT: Okay on topic, my brother found it, made the acc I have now. He still sort of plays. But now that he doesn't really have a decent leveled account of his own he isn't really into it. Wish I could give him money, I enjoy playing with him.

My brother stumbled upon it.

Friend told me. A few people used to play it at school.

The new kids at school were playing it and I decided to try it out. Been hooked ever since.

I never even heard of it, and when I couldn't get the door open @ tutorial island, I was about to quit.

 

Unfortunatly I saw the click option and away went 3 years :D

I forgot whether it was from freeonlinegames or allgamesfree but either way, it's not from 'Meeneeclips' 0.~

When I was about 11, nearly all my freinds played, so I tried it out then. I remember that everyone was in awe of one guy who was level 48 and had been playing for months. They all quit after a while, but I still know one of them, and he's now about level 75.

My boyfriend at the time discovered it and told me I should join. The rest is history.

Back then I had just gotten my first PC. :)

In sixth grade all of my classmates were making fun of the kids who played it.

 

So I went home and tried it out, naturally.

 

I remember smithing on tutorial island saying out loud "This is the greatest game ever!"

 

(No joke).

My brother's friends showed him and he came home and showed me.

My brothers friend told my brother about it and then my brother told me about it.

Most of my friends were playing it at the time and talking about it a lot. I did'nt have internet or a pc at the time so my friend made a character up for me. He hogged the pc most of the time and basically completed tutorial island for me :lol:

Used to be in a clan on the msn gaming zone for Age of Empires 2. One day I don't remember the conversation or circumstances but one of the members showed me RS I started playing and he helped me out a bit he was probably around level 50 or even 60. I got another member of the clan to start playing with us. Eventually they both stopped playing but I kept on playing. I have so many fond memories of my early rs days.. :cry:

A friend of mine who mainly spends his time in computer games recommended me to play runescape, at first i didn't like it ( because i couldn't pass tutorial island lol) and leave it for about 1 or 2 weeks, then i started to playing again and without realizing i leveled to level 50 combat in less than a moth.
