Thats the "I need to quit or take a break" feeling and you should go with it. Of course you could also change what your doing on the game.

yeah, i used to feel the same. Try taking a break from rs for a month or so. It worked for me.

I think ?5? is enough threads for one day...

Anyway, if you're just boored of grinding, take a break and play a mini game or something; if you're boored with rs, leave it for a while.

And thank you good sir, for this EXTREMELY enlightening post which means absolutely nothing and uses a 5 year old quote. No, I don't get the feeling, but I quit 5 times a month so meh;).

Edtheripper and Master_Smither pretty much summed it up.

Moocky for once I agree with you. This guy has posted 5 threads, none of which have any real discussion value, and they're all pretty much complaining or whining. I move to ban him from creating threads. Do I hear a second?

Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-

My my my....five threads on the first page, all with question marks on the end.

I don't feel this way, but if I did, as others have said I would just take a break for a little bit.

MMO's feel like a job when you get to higher levels because you have to do more to level up.

Quit for a month or two until your interest comes back, and if it never does then you've lost your interest in the game and there's nothing that can really be done about it.

I hate this feeling.

And it usually makes me feel like getting defence  .

First thread you've made that I actually deem "a useful discussion"

I felt the exact same way so I quit

I still go on to play Stealing Creations sometimes but that's it

i dont feel that way...but yea to rsw44. i played almost 3+hrs a day from 05-06. i took a 2yr break, and just came back this past summer. i play ~1.5hrs a day, but not every day. if u need a break take it. nothing major will change to ur char. maybe to the game, but ur char will still be here, value and all

Know the feeling.

Got several accounts, main, a few pures and fun runners, and usually I'll do the events on all of them, but after the second or third bash on th Christmas event/quest, just couldn't face that wretched sliding thing again.

On the other hand, I wanted to get to Great Orb project, so on one, I processed more ess than I normally ever would at one sitting.

I like challenges such a "lowest level to", such as my fun runner "Skeleton Fun", with the Skull sceptre at level 16 (and the Skeleton suit that goes so well with it).

Some days, you can just chug away at getting levels or resources, other days, you make one run and get instantly fed up.

Other times, you may like to go against a monster that is quite capable of killing you, or a dose of PvP - just depends where you are at.

How can you get a skull scepter at lvl 16? it's impossible. i tried to quit for while but i cant. any ideas for me?

and also, can someone give me some suggestions about what fun things to do on rs? the only thing i can think of is duelling... maybe pvp. and sorry about my threads... i wont create anymore. :shame:

Stop playing for skills or for other people and just do whatever you want to do. I realized after about a week of doing what I wanted that runecrafting is probably the most fun thing I can do in the game, oddly enough.

1. it's not impossible, it's difficult, but not impossible

2. Fun is a relative term. Find what's fun for you, because you will have different ideas of what's fun than other people.

Perhaps try some mini games though, people usually enjoy at least one of those.

lalala i haven't the slightest idea how you can enjoy the repetitiveness and sheer lack of anything exciting ever happening that runecrafting gives. It doesn't even have its own random event.

when i get really bored i just take a month or 2 break and come back fresh as a daisy :D

I used to love runecrafting too: when it was profitable!

It was really nice to actually see your cash stack flowing from 0 (Was hacked just when I got 43 rc) till 50+M (and that's when ge/trade restriction problems started to rise and pure ess was 160 ea)...

Still RC is the only bearable skill for me (well maybe farming, but I hate it when I time wrong and do a complete lap of nothing): you get to see many different environments and don't stay in 1 spot too long!

Also at RCing I found what satisfies me most: actually trying to be the best! - I always want to race against someone (or something like a stopwatch). THAT made rcing fun for me: it's YOUR fault entirely if you make less profit an hour.. At wc/fishing it's too much random waiting, and you can't actually be better at it than someone else!

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.
