Do you prefer to play games by yourself?

Featured Replies

I mean do you play stuff like videogames or sports by yourself. I for one go to my local playing field and practice penalties by myself, i just concentrate on getting it inside the goal bars,so that in a real game i won't miss the goal completely. I have be known for my love of single player games/videogames, i like multiplayer games but most of the time they are lopsided, either you are better than everyone else or your the worse out of the bunch, theres no in-between. Take that high school basketball game for example when the socre was 100-0, then there is the odd chance of your team mate letting you down, John terry for chelsea at the champions league finals spring to mind. Of course you need to know to work with people and the benefits of teamwork but Do you like to be part of the group of guys playing halo 3 or the guy who likes to sit down with a nice rpg and grind to the last battle, i'm not asking if your anti-social or are a loner i'm just asking if you prefer to play/do things in general by yourself.

i read title and o.O

We must have dirty minds.

but on topic, Like being alone? Sometimes I mean a human needs some people around or he will die or commit suicide. But for a while ya I like being alone doing things

If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Love the title man.

Anyways on topic, I prefer to be alone most of the time but sometimes i'll want someone I can battle on the xbox or something.

That's why you're on the TZDF blackdawn. Even your balls can tear zombies to shreds.

I've never been a fan of team sports, but I always like playing with someone else. If the ducks are out today, I'm going to feed them with someone else. :D

Seriously, pretty bad title

I'd prefer team stuff, but I'll play with myself every once in a while.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

No, playing with others is always more fun. Especially when you get into arguments about people cheating/being unfair. Oh the drama.

I fly solo.

Simply put, I fail at basically every single team sport out there. Except possibly soccer/football, but even then, I absolutely suck compared to some of the awesome people at my school. I'm a bit better with solo things, such as tennis and running. It's kind of hard to play tennis by yourself (As in without an opponent), but I'd rather run on a treadmill than out on the streets.

I suppose it's because I have a massive ego and I don't want other people see me failing miserably.

For video games, though I do not suck (I swear I don't ;) ), I still prefer playing solo. Yeah, playing the computer can get boring after a while, and then I'll switch to multiplayer, but I've spent over 1000 hours playing single player games for a reason.

That's not to say I don't enjoy playing with a good party in a MMORPG, or blowing other people's heads off in a FPS, but leading my army against a computer is fun too.

I like to be a loner but tennis requires two people :(

Also, on Video Games (TF2) I don't usually team up or ask for assitance (except when I need a medic).

Hm...I just did that.

I like being with people and being alone. I rock.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I can hardly do anything by myself. I'm a people's person.

I like playing sports with other people because I like blending with people and mostly because my friends are badassedly funny  . If it was just a group of people I don't know I'd still play, but keep my mouth shut unless it was a friendly atmosphere. I don't have a need to play sports by myself since that means I'll be practicing... :-w

Hello friend, Senajitkaushik was epic, Good luck bro.

Except for the various LAN parties I attend, I play games by myself.

These are the conditions of my room when I game:

- Temperature at an exact 54 degrees

- Dimmed lighting /almsot pitch black

- Two Mountain Dew Amp's near my mouse

- A low noise level

It helps me game better. I can get more kills in UT,TF2, and COD3. I like using a headset with a mic also. My family knows that firday nights = DND me or I will be in an pissy mood.

Title still sounds wrong in my head.

Usually I prefer playing with other people, but sometimes I like to play with by myself. Sports that you actually play irl are always much more fun when you're in a team with your friends but I hate it when people get too competitive/cheat. >_>

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Everything is better with friends, so yes I would much prefer to do stuff with my friends compared to doing stuff alone.

I like single-player games usually but I also play a lot of multiplayer games with my nephews. They really like Warioware. ;)

As for sports I don't really see the sport in it if it's played by yourself. I'd rather play with friends.

See, now that's just weird...

...and only the squirrels and crows were out today. :( Went hiking though!

I read the topic title as: "Do you prefer to play the game by yourself?" >.<

OT: Kind of. I enjoy single player but also multiplayer.

Games like Halo I'll play with others, but other than that I'll play by myself

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

It depends, I got go kick a soccer ball around alone but I'd raither to it with a friend. Basketball I'd raither shoot around by myself. It really just depends on the sport and my mood I'm in. Video games I'd prefer to play coop but it always depends on the game, like Halo I will only play with friends.

well when im playing video games, first time play through of singleplayer is by myself then after i might play through again with 2 player or online co-op. If im playing a game like counter-strike, i mostly play alone but when a friend joins its way more fun

as for sports, i dont really play team sports but they are pretty fun and if its a sport you can play by yourself, e.g. when i go skiing i always ski with someone else, it isnt as good when your off by yourself
