Orpheus
When people don't rap about money, [garden tools], and "respect," I like rap. When people do, it shows they're idiots who'll ruin their life for some "street cred." Couldn't have said it better myself. If what they were saying in their songs was true, every one of them would be extinct by now. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. dragoonson
Oh yeah, country rap. As strange as it sounds, it's actually not too bad...(Better than some stuff I've heard...) And apparently it's called c-rap for short. How awesome is that. Seriously though, there are a few rappers I like. But nowhere near my favorites. Were do you have to go to hear c-rap? The South? I've never heard of country rap being on the west coast. Crap is everywhere. Eminem is barely tolerable. He's not a homongler. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! How2PK
I like rap music, especially when it's about [bleep]es and hos. A lot better than that 'trying to change the world' kind of [cabbage], that makes me feel sick in my stomach. The gangster stuff is best. I also enjoy the more absurd stuff like Cage, Smut Peddlers etc a lot. Jernlov
Beastie Boys[bleep] yeah. I quite like the shoegaze/industrial hip-hop of Dalek. Nas released a couple of nice albums too. I used to be into 50 Cent and stuff when I was younger [i grew up in a hip-hop trend; 50 Cent and Eminem]; but I haven't really listened to any hip-hop in a while now. Intriguing
I like Hip-Hop, though I'm not very knowledgeable with it. Favourites: - Madvillain : Freaking incredible. Though I've never checked out Madlib or MF Doom's solo stuff. - Kanye West : I don't care what you say. He's awesome. - M.I.A. : Not exactly Rap, but I sort of class Hip-Hop and Rap as the same. - Buck 65 - Atmosphere - Dizzee Rascal - Lupe Fiasco - CunninLynguists - Talib Kweli - Common - Sage Francis Cool. Necrobean
I'm more of a fan of when Hiphop just started when mostly Jamaicans were trying to hide there accent because it wasn't accepted in the scene back then. Mostly 90's gangsta as well and a few hyphy/psyphy Artists inclusing: Arabian prince, BG Knocc out & Dresta, Boogie down productions, Compton's most wanted, Crimies, Convicted felons, Dday one, Doug E. Fresh, Dre, Eazy E, Grandmaster flash, Ice cube, J-Ride, Juvenile, Kanabliss, Kool G rap & Dj polo, Mack 10, MC eiht, MC ren, Newcleus, Nine, Schooly D, Si-klonn, Spice 1, Tuff crew, Yella, Young lay. Although I listen more to breakcore/reggae/goa/acid lately I still put on hiphop/rap most of the time. :) ;>

Skull
Emenim's one of my favorite mainstream rappers. Rather, the only one I like. Edit: Kanye's not bad either Aesop Rock and Atmosphere are two I've been told are good, I've never actually heard Atmosphere though, so who knows. Another one that's big with some of the guys I know is Immortal Technique. Again, haven't heard much from him. Edit again: Forgot Cypress Hilll and House of Pain (sometimes) [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp

Th3_Crusader
I used to like Eminems old songs, but now I don't care for them, and his songs that talk about hating his wife. EDIT: Ex-wife (Kim) I think it is.

Kalphite
Though I have found some rap that I like (Wu-Tang Clan's Enter the Wu-tang (36 Chambers), Nas's Illmatic, cLOUDDEAD's self-titled, and some songs by Sage Francis (haven't heard too many though. Must fix soon)), I've never really had the inclination to really get into it.

WookieeMania12
The ironic thing is, the only people that mention souljaboy are the haters. Maybe if you stopped talking about it, he could be more easily forgotten. Anyhow, I'm not a big rap fan, but there are still gems: Beastie Boys Cypress Hill The Roots N.W.A Lupe Fiasco Public Enemy RUN DMC Salt-n-Pepa House of Pain We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012

1_man_army
You have to love Souljaboy, he made big predictions for his albums sales but after it went double copper he turns round and blames Nas for killing hip hop because he had an album called Hip Hop is Dead. He even applauded slavemasters for bringing black people to America because in America they can get "tattoos and ice". He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)

aquariusman
The rap and hip-hop I'm more drawn towards is in the style of Immortal Technique, Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Talib Kweli, and The Unspoken Heard. I do like other stuff, but mainly because it's just ear candy. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
