Most people have said they would like to afford a pair and when they are around 20mil buyable in ge people will buy them up again. They're just junk now, and people selling multiple tables with them and trying to buy phats with them. It's really quite funny. :lol: I sold off the last of mine yesterday before the crash. With the crash, why should people kill them anymore? If they could just GWD? Better drops, more money, less requirements. Unless people CoinShare duo/trio TDs from now on (which I know some will), no one'll bother killing them anymore. Same as been happening to certain GWD bosses (and consequently, the armour they drop is rising). At that time, those who want the d claws badly but didn't want to pay so much for them will swoop in and suddenly the demand for claws comes back. I'm one of the people who would like a pair of claws but I'm not going to blow most of my life savings on it. Once it gets within a cheap range, then I'll consider buying it. Who knows? It might be a good investment if they start to go up again. Alot of people who cant afford them wish that, but the fact of the matter is, despite the junk and crashing/rising, they will never go under 10m at a minimum. Lets not forget, while they are crap weapons alone, they have the most KO able special in the game. While they may not be the 30m they are now they are still valuable items, and WILL NOT EVER reach the point where the large general public can afford them. The SS/GS has been around for years, and they still cannot be afforded by basic players, I don't see claws being any different. D claws are only used by Pkers. No one's going to buy a pair to go monster hunting with as they're just ineffective on anything but other players. Now I'm hoping I'm getting my second chance. (I'm a terrible person ;) ) That said, I think it'll drop for more than 2 days. People get thrown into a panic easily, and mob mentality can enter very fast. (Y2K bug anyone?) People will be frantic to dump, and those that can afford a pair higher will be equally happy to get them for min. A 600k drop is well within Dragon Claws' price range. Jagex intervened too late. Rumours of a crash have been spreading rapidly for over a week and it seems the effect has finally kicked in. It's also worth noting that AGS can be used for non-spec use while d claws are completely useless after their specs. Im not so sure Jagex had nothing to do with it but I do agree with you about the rumours of a crash, could be a self fulfilled prophecy. Prices are very sensitive to rumors. If there is a rumor about a price crash for something as expensive and still unknown as dclaws, there will not be enough rational people to maintain the price. People will start selling to get rid of their claws before the supposed crash, then people will realise there not rising as fast or there starting to go down or whatever and they will start to sell before a crash. When that happens, it causes a crash and everyone goes into their 'sell!sell!sell!' frenzy that ruins the prices of such items. In otherwords. A self fulfiling prophecy. On Topic: Jagex have been messing around with the GrandExchange lately (Changing the amount the item can go up and down). Claws went up an amazing amount 2-3 times, the last being 5.9M. Just at random times they've went up massive amounts. They'll not fall to 10M, considering how deadly they are towards any Pker. I've heard (I don't slay myself!) that they're good for doing some slayer tasks (Don't ask how :roll: ), and also good for some boss monsters. (Wasn't there a video with 3-4 people with claws killing the Sara boss in seconds?). It'll be just like Godswords, and constantly being merched by channels/people (Just like the Ags.). I like the fact that they dropped, and I'm glad me and my friends got rid of ours at the right time (Yesterday morning) . What 3_Hit_U means is that the street price has been 15M for a while... just street prices take a while to influence the G.E for instance 100 people have offers in for max, whilst theyre crashing on the streets, claw owners run to g.e and put it on minimum but they get max cash for it, because of existing offers, next day the price updates, then the crash happens.
