PoorLepRecon
And why do people hate stick shifts so much? As long as you don't get one of the ones whose clutch takes two hundred pounds of pressure to push down, it's easy. Because compared to automatics its a lot harder. I hear it's really easy and natural once you get used to it though, it's just the learning period that's frustrating (my sister stalled 5 times in a row a while ago and got really pissed off, it was pretty funny). Hey, stalling is not fun. I can understand why your sister would get pissed off, you'll understand too when you learn on a stick. My parents did the same as your parents are going to do, they bought a stick for me to learn on. Once you get the hang of starting, it's almost as easy as an automatic. In fact, when you drive an automatic, your left foot will feel so useless that you will want your manual back. You constantly have to shift on city streets as you approach traffic lights and make stops, so you will be pretty busy while driving. But it's fun, so don't think you will dread all the work, you won't even think about it once you get used to it. :D Forum Updates & Suggestions <------ Let your voice be heard!Forum Games <------- Coolest place on Tip.ItTip.It Forum Rules <------- Read them! Lenticular_J
Augh. Me and mydad were so close to buying a '70 charger for five grand. It was exactly like Dukes of Hazzard, but, with that price, we couldn't. There wasn't even a motor or transmission, and the body was [bleep]ed up. It would have been fun to restore it, but half of the work me and him wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell to actually do. Most of it woulda been worked on by someone else. Boo. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
PoorLepRecon
Haha I passed my drivers test with a 71. I needed a 70 in order to get it. :D I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get my license, I didn't have time to wait in the line. walka92
when i did my written test i got 100% on it, but it was only 30 questions, 20 general knowledge road rules/signs etc, and 10 give way questions. only allow 2 and 1 wrong answers respectively I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

Down here if you do something to fail you they won't tell you, so you keep doing the whole thing only to find out that at the start you did something to autofail you. This is a practical exam mind you, so no matter how much you study you can easily fail as you can't go back and change answers. Hugger_88
The majority of the questions are common sense. i failed it the first time because some of the questions had 2 answers that both seemed right. but the second time after I read alittle bit, I got a 96 8-) - 60,023rd to 99 Firemaking on April 29th, 2012 -- 15,152nd to 99 agility on August 21st, 2011 -- 30,569th to 99 Prayer on June 26th, 2011 -- 22,646th to 99 Hunter on Jan 9th, 2011 -1993 Miata; sold - 2001 E46 330i; "totaled" - 2001 E46 325iT; Bags and wheels ;)

Albel
In order to get your learners permit, you must pass a written test that is on a computer. You get 21 questions. If you get 8 wrong, the test is over, and you have to wait 1 week inorder to takes the test again. In order to pass the test, you must get 14 questions correct. Not that hard, I missed 2 questions. rangeor
I'll admit I failed the written test the first time. I missed 6 questions, when you're allowed to miss 5 #-o My second try I got a perfect score though. And a couple weeks ago I passed my driving test with a perfect score! Now all I have to do is wait until december to get my liscense (have to have held my permit for 9 months).
michel555555
I got 2 questions wrong when i first did my learners. it was the number stuff like how long you get suspended for if you're caught drinking and driving and how deep the tread of your tires should be before you need to change them that i got wrong. Just moved to winnipeg though from alberta and i needed to do my learners all over again for some strange reason and i failed my first time because some of the rules here are dumb. for instance for your high beams in alberta you have to turn them off when your 300m away from an aproaching vehicle and 150m when your coming up behind a vehicle. here in winnipeg its 480m when being approached by a vehicle and only 60m when ur going behind one. i would have thought that it would have been the same country wide instead of by a province by province basis.
