deathdrow
4:00 p.m. PDT: The Conficker worm is stirring on some infected computers in Asia where it's April 1, but so far the activity is very tame, security researchers say. ):

anonymous1234
Bring it [bleep]! *puts on Panda, Norton, Avast, Bit defender, and McAfee* actually, multiple firewalls are less effective than one because they can block each other.
Da_Latios
I don't run any antivirus software, and I turn my firewall protection off. And yet for some reason, my scans with Symantec's conficker cleaner came up clean. Antivirus is overrated. Latinoking
McAfee already offers protection from the Conficker worm in its endpoint and network products, and Microsoft has issued a security patch for the vulnerability that the Conficker family has used to propagate. Yet many computer users continue to worry about infection. The information below will help you understand more about the worm, the steps you can take to clean an infected system, and measures to prevent reinfection. http://www.mcafee.com/us/threat_center/conficker.html If anyone uses McAfee like me... It's been updating so I feel good! I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]

Wisp
If it ain't a joke, wouldn't alot of bad stuff happen? That's the general idea of it. To be safe, I ran a full virus scan, updated my OS, and found nothing. I have good virus/malware protection, so I should be ok. indy500fan
If it ain't a joke, wouldn't alot of bad stuff happen? All the infected computers are probably going to become part of a botnet. Could be used for anything, bad or good.

Dexek
If it happens it happens. I'm not shutting off my computer, I need a new one anyways. I've tried the things that will supposedly scan my computer for it, but none will load. I guess that means I have it. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

If you're running any form of linux, you're basically 100% safe from the worm :D I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
