Burt's Bees.

The best chap stick ever.

So if any of you are like me, you're addicted to using Burt's Bees chap stick like a crack addict. And if you're not, stay far away from this stuff or you will become addicted.

Discuss any and all Burt's Bees products. I love this stuff and will never buy another type of lip balm/chap stick for the rest of my life.

Obviously you have never used it. And no, I'm not kidding.

I use the lipsyl that they sell at Asda but the cherry one is so intoxicating that I eventually took small nibbles of it and it became disfigured. :(

The Vaseline one is overrated  it leaves your lips feeling greasy and it tastes horrible.

Those are the only two I use and they're UK ones. I was thinking of trying a cocoa butter one because cocoa butter smells bloody delicious but I don't wanna spend too much money on them, they're just lip balms after all.

Those Burt's Bees look pretty expensive, I think I'll stick to my £1 ones.

I think all chap stick feels wierd. Like lotion. I don't like my skin feeling wet unless I'm taking a shower or swimming or something. It just feels so wierd.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I haven't used chapstick in years now. Your body becomes addicted to it when in reality you don't actually need it (unless in extreme climate situations). It hurt/felt weird for about a week or two while my body adjusted to the change. Even now when my lips get chapped, they never hurt. \'

I remember when I was little, I used to eat chapsticks thinking they were sweets

Lol I used to eat it too! Not because I thought it was candy, but because it tasted so good! :XD: Then I had a bad experience with some root beer flavoured stuff.. At a whole bunch at once, and man it was gross. :XD: Winter's up here in Canada pretty much demand chap stick. :o

But it's for dryness. And chapped lips are a pain in the [wagon] when they get bad. They start to hurt and they can bleed and flake, it's gross. I don't use Burt's Bees though, just the Neutrogena stuff.

Folks here use something called Carmax. At first I thought they were talking about applying car wax on their lips.

I haven't used chapstick in years and don't plan to. Horrible stuff.

A girl in my class freaked out at my friend because she thought only girls should use Burt's Bees chapstick. Then, we spent half the class discussing why guys can use it too, using arguments such as: Burt is a guy's name, so the product must be for guys too, etc.

It was a good class.

I use hand sanatizing gel a lot. It makes your hands feel all watery then when it dries up it smells uber nice.

I've been biting the flakes off my lips recently, it's a nervous habit.

That's when you peel it off.

Yeah, it's 'not good for you', but I've been peeling my skin for years and .. it's never bled. Or anything.

Agreed. I just don't like the feel of lotion. :P

The only chapstick I use on a regular basis is my tongue. Other than that I've tried a couple and I find that the sugars in them dry my lips out even more so waste of time/money. I put chapstick on the same level as bottled water in lameness.

I get chapped lips really bad in the winter, so I need it. Some people don't get it as bad as others. You can't really compare it to bottled water :|

Uhh... ok. :|

I have never used a chapstick for years, although I know plenty of people who do. I've never had a problem with my lips. These OT topics keep on getting weirder...

OH MY GOD! I practically jumped out of my chair when I saw this topic. I LOVE Burts Bees, it's the most soothing, nice-smelling lip balm ever! I've been using the little yellow tin for a couple of years, I never leave the house without it! ::'

How good are the little sticks of Burts Bees?
