Dire_Wolf
As i was leveling at Werewolf course at Canfis, i noticed some details by the Agility Boss: 1) His name is called the Agility Boss 2) He is holding a stick 3) He has a yellow suite 4) He uses a move now and then. A fist move where he punches in air Now you wonder what the point is? Well: 1) Bruce Lee made a movie called "The Big Boss", in 1972. 2) Bruce Lee uses some sticks which is called "Nunchaku/Nunchucks" 3) Bruce Lee has a yellow suite with similar details. 4) Looks like Bruce Lee similar move. In this video clip at 1:53 Bruce Lee does the move (Compare it with the werewolf): [yt]C63B68CE68A6D1F0[/yt] So my question is to all of you, do you think this is a reference to Bruce Lee or not? I am quite surprised myself, the things point out that it is. But Jagex is a british company, so ...what the hell. Discuss.
AceSpitball
No.. you're thinking too far on this. Bruce Lee is a human, and that werewolf is a werewolf. More to the point, though, just because the boss uses a yellow nun chuck/suit and the name doesnt exactly directly relate to bruce lee. No.

funnisam
Bruce Lee is a commonly referenced person even in britain, along with Jet Li, Jackie Chan etc etc. Not very surprised to see a reference in there, but it does look like quite a clear reference to Bruce Lee that you found. Dire_Wolf
I didn't say that werewolf is Bruce Lee in Runescape. I was just saying that the werewolfs cloth and things might be a reference to Bruce Lee..

warren211
It probably is a Bruce Lee reference. Jagex already has a ton of real world easter eggs in runescape, most of them being monty python. wouldn't surprise me if they decided to add one more. [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. Kimberly
Hah, I've never been to the Werewolf Agility Course. That's pretty neat. (Though I never saw any of the bruce lee movies so I probably would've guessed it as a Kill Bill reference :wall: My bad)
jonni
Yeah I think that's a pretty clear reference, he's relatively well known in the UK so it's not too odd for jagex. dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.

After all Bruce Lee's martial arts style is the ultimate. It's called "Jet Kun Do" and it's a mix of several martial arts style. Returned3
Not a bad way to honour the late great Bruce Lee. Although I would've chosen something less deserted. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down!

Lordjake
I don't think him being named Agility Boss is necessarily a reference to one of his movies, especially when the movie name you picked is a much lesser known alternate title for the movie 'Fists of Fury'. "Agility Boss" probably just refers to the fact that he was an insanely agile mofo. The yellow track suit is all you really needed pick out the reference. @Dan3HitU
Bruce Lee was a legend, the world couldn't cope if he was still alive, even Chuck Norris would have committed suicide.
