June 25, 200917 yr I want to get your opinions, whether you would 'ditch' Runescape for Mechscape (Stellar Dawn) I personally wouldn't because I like runescape a lot and if its true that this new game will have higher graphics etc, my computer porbably couldn't handle it. Would you stay would you go? would you try and manage both? Post your thoughts :) null and void
June 26, 200917 yr theres no proof mechscape is "stellar dawn", so why say it like its fact I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
June 26, 200917 yr theres no proof mechscape is "stellar dawn", so why say it like its fact He put it in parentheses how does that make it fact  OT: Tbh, I've been bored of Runescape lately so I'll probably play the new game exclusively at least for a little while, then go from there :P
June 26, 200917 yr On topic, I wouldn't leave Runescape for Mechscape. Because i'm not likely to have all the goals i have set for msyelf finished by the time it comes out. But, I will probably try to juggle both for a bit, while i try out mechscape, and still stick to my runescape goals. signature
June 26, 200917 yr Author theres no proof mechscape is "stellar dawn", so why say it like its fact Thanks for answering the question there  And i didn't say it like it was fact, i put it in brackets because I knew eventually somebody would probably post here saying something about it null and void
June 27, 200917 yr Maybe, depends if i like it or not. The genre is not really my cup of tea but I remember saying that about Runescape . but saying that, unless it has loads of new content, i cant see it taking over from runescape to start with. Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig!
June 28, 200917 yr I don't play RuneScape as it is, but I will probably try MechScape for a few weeks, to see if I like it. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
June 29, 200917 yr I'll try it definitely, then compare it to Runescape and see if I'll buy members and move over or not. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
June 30, 200917 yr I'd never leave Runescape for mechscape. ~ HYT Chat Rules (Click Here): Read before entering the chat. ~| Former Clan Chronicle Editor | Former Clan Improvement Member| Former TET Member |
July 1, 200917 yr I doubt i'd even play Mechscape. I'll most likely play for about half a hour, Give up and go Runecraft or something.. :
July 2, 200917 yr I recently started playing again with a level 3 skiller. I'd most likely alternate and play both games. :) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous
July 10, 200917 yr I probably won't "leave" Runescape for Mechscape, but I might end up spending more time on mechscape. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
July 10, 200917 yr I've grown bored on Runescape and have been trying to find something to play. So i'll probably see how Mechscape is and if its good i'll be on that for a while. But i wont totally leave Runescape until i hit 2000 total level.
July 11, 200917 yr If MS or what ever the name of the MMO will be provides a more mature community of players, then I will switch. Otherwise, I will play WOTLK more. [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
July 12, 200917 yr Since MechScape is so far away from a release date, it's difficult to decide if I'll drop RS and switch to it. I know it's not good to make any assumptions but I'll assume Jagex will make a F2P version of MechScape. If so, I'll give it a try and similarly with my time in F2P RS, I'll complete all the available free-quests, train up to a respectable level in the available skills and if I really enjoy the MS, I'll pay for it. Otherwise, I'll just stick with RS. Knowledge is Power; a Tip.it guide answers many commonly asked questions.~Celestrana: Making of a Hero ~ (Visit my blog, today!)
July 13, 200917 yr I doubt I would quit runescape entirely unless this turns out to be an amazing game to play and the community is like runescape's community used to be. Even with that, there will always be a place in my heart for rs and I will probably always play it occasionally. "He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it."
July 13, 200917 yr I think alot of people forget you can play more than one game/MMORPG, I actively play loads of different games so I will probably be playing both RS and MS, it doesn't have to be one or the other -.- Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(
July 14, 200917 yr As of right now I'm planning on giving Mechscape a try for the first month to see how I like it. Since I don't play runescape much anymore I guess I will be giving Runescape up for Mechscape for the most part.
July 14, 200917 yr If they do to Runescape what they did Classic, I'd probably move over. If Runescape is going to be kept as a full fledged and updated game, I'll stick to it. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
July 21, 200917 yr Ill probably check it out.Same as I did when armies of galienoir or w/e its called came out.
July 22, 200917 yr Sign up for MechScape really quick(you might get free membership for being early!) then if trading is avaible in the game, grab *everything*, it might one day become rare and you'll make lots of cash! If it has any relation to RuneScape at all, it should at least have a linked friends list system, like I discovered yesterday when my friend was playing on FunOrb and he appeared on my friends list on world 'kickabout 1'.
July 24, 200916 yr Would you stay? For sure would you go? I would play it for a day or two just to say I've tested it's beta version. would you try and manage both? No, I'm not going to throw away over 8000 hours of gameplay on something I still very much enjoy for a new flashier game of which is based off something I don't like that much. July 24, 200916 yr I will probably try it out at least, for a bit. I have quit runescape a few times for other games, but I always came back to runescape. Lets just say that I am too far in the game to just drop it forever, like I did with the rest of the games I have played. I hope the controls for MS (or stellar dawn, that sounds freaking awesome) are based on real time shortcut combat and skill tree's, rather than plain wep speed and cb skills like rs combat. While I enjoy runescapes combat for its simplicity, I like shortcut spamming so much better, as it makes fighting a bit more intense.
