"I am commander Shepard and this is my favorite store in the citadel!"

I always bought out the entire store and then intimidated the shopkeep for a discount.

...why? If it's your first play through you can just barely afford every item in the game, and that is only if you import a rich ME1 character. You have to get the discounts at every store before you buy.

Anyways I thought the paragon discount was pretty lame; getting the exact same animation and sound bite for four different stores is kind of lazy.

It was funny to see the shopkeeps [cabbage] themselves after I already bought everything from them. I had no money problems at all during my first playthrough.

For example, in the Citadel's souvenir shop, I bought out everything. The Renegade discount speech goes something like "These prices are a little too high for me..." and the lady says something which result to my guy shouting out into the Citadel "Hey everyone! This shop discriminates against the poor!" even though I bought everything already. Just for the laughs.

rofl yeah that was hilarious

garrus has great quotes also

when can i get the paramour achievement? tali has been blue balling me for a while now

shepard's smirk makes me laugh so hard

You'll get it right before you enter the Omega relay. No need to take insanely long elevator trips to the engineering docks anymore.

Ok so I got a new game and just beat it, I lost like 5 people though. I'm going to start another soon, try and do everything. What kinda player should I create to do a perfect run through of the suicide mission?

Class doesn't matter as long as you make sure to get all the upgrades, do loyalty missions, ect.

Well I was just a Soldier before, any recommendations on what to choose this time round?

EDIT: Also if I start a new game without importing my original character, do i still get the bonuses?

You get the 200k credits/50k resource bonus. You don't get any ME1 import bonuses (extra credits, para/renegade bonus)

Yeah but it said something about importing my character from my first playthrough and keeping all my guns/levels.

You get 200k/50k as long as you have finished ME2 twice, or once from an imported ME1 character. This will be true for every character you make here after. Look at my previous post for other bonuses.

Having everyone survive the suicide mission is easy. Just complete the game. Recruitment/loyalty missions make up far more than the main storyline, if you just play the main storyline you are doing it wrong. The game is mostly building your team, the main storyline is kind of a side note. For the suicide mission just chose the right people to do the right job. It's pretty obvious who is best for what, so don't just chose characters you like (like I did  my first playthrough), choose characters that are good for their parts. One no loss combo is Legion:vents, Garrus:team leader both times, Jack:barrier, anyone:crew escort. Tali completes the vents just as well, not sure who else for team leader but some have said Miranda, Samarra/Morinth can both handle the barrier fine also.

Oh don't get me wrong, I definately did all the loyalty stuff, wanted the achievements more than anything hehe. I just did what you said and chose the people I liked most, also I didn't bother upgrading the ship at all as I didn't have the money for it, I couldn't be bothered to go about harvesting planets lol. :P

Ok so I ordered Mass Effect 1, as I didn't have a 360 when it came out. For £7.99 you can't really go wrong. Just asking which class I should start out with, after looking at some reviews the soldier sounds easy to use, but I like the sound of the hybrid classes that have soldier stuff and the force power things.

I don't think any are easier/harder, I think it's all just down to what you would most enjoy. Although i'm not sure if this is true as I always choose the Soldier as I prefer to just run in there and shoot everything up.

i'd recommend either vanguard or adept. biotic powers are crazy fun and overpowered in the first game.

stay away from tech based classes. garrus is a badass and you should always have him in your group.

Even though I love Garrus and will never replace him he always dies too fast in both games. I always use Tali and Garrus no matter the situation in both games; yet they both seem to die fast. Garrus always rushes the enemy and it never works until he gets a little stronger

Even if it's a dumb story, telling it changes other people just the slightest little bit, just as living the story changes me. An infinitesimal change. And that infinitesimal change ripples outward-ever smaller but everlasting. I will get forgotten, but the stories will last. And so we all matter-maybe less than a lot, but always more than none.

And before him Wrex <3:

Started a new ME1 file as an infiltrator or whatever the sniper/tech class is... With assault rifles for good measure. Since the other tech characters die too fast might as well fill that niche myself.

I've always used Garrus. I did the Garrus/Tali combo in ME1 but switched to Garrus/Mordin in ME2. I still stand by that Mordin is my favorite character in ME2. (And he sings!)

Straight up. They are totally badass and sound, look and play cool. Hell, I wish Shepherd was a Krogan. <3:

Mordin I think is my favourite character in any video game ever. He is just that awesome.
