Da Pirates
Ok since my oil is in demand I need an offer that will set you above the other countries. I already have a country (who will remain anonymous) who is talking to me in PM about offering me a lot of things for it. I am willing to sell to the "highest bidder" if you will say ;) . I seem to get a lot of people offering agriculture. Please note I am NOT looking for any agricultural advancements as of now, as I am looking for more technology. BR BR BR? a_bert
Well, as your a member of the IAC, I would hope that all (or at least, most) our technological advancements are shared, as are our resources. Perhaps I was mistaken in what the IAC should be about - for me it is more than just a defensive pact. 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

frakir_staer
Okay. Let's play this realistically, though.   News alert! Argentina just experienced a massive earthquake! For some reason, the entire nation fell into the ocean! And yet nobody was killed except for the president how wierd is that. VERDE SOYLANTE!!!!   Fortunately, Venezuela recieved a shipment shortly before this catastrophe. We don't have much, and don't have the genetech to make more, and understandably want most of it for ourselves. However, we may be able to sell a limited quantity. Giordano
Aww come on Lent, don't ruin Argentina like that. :P    Okay, instead of an earthquake, the reign of Lent's government collapsed by a violent coup led by Nick El Sesenta Cuatro in front of the Casa Rosa earlier this year. Paraguay and Uruguay, taking advantage of the instability of the crisis, seperated from Greater Argentina back to their original nations (this means 2 new counties are up for grabs).   After many weeks fighting the Loyalists, my forces secured most the country but some loyalists still may be hiding in the countryside. The central valley and the Pampas are under my control. Most of the loyalists fled to either the northern dry regions near the Bolivian border or to the cold Patagonia down south.   The chaos weakened the Argentine economy and destroyed some exports, including the Verde Soylante seed. This seed is no more until our scientists can re-engineer it.    The ex-Argentine military equipment is being used to protect against Loyalist attacks as we try to bring the country under control. Wisp
Brazil will also keep the seeds and processed verde to ourselves until we have fully researched it.   It's been around 5 months since my last update on brazil. Since the dissolution of the SAR, Brazilian moral has gone up, since the majority of taxes are now going towards our own country rather than our neighbors, and people see the merits of our spending. Our factories are slowing their production of planes and tanks.    Here is the total makeup of the Brazilian Military at this point:   [hide=Military]Total: 600,000 in active service. 1,554,000 in reserve.   Army: 400,000 in active service. 950,000 in Reserve Technology and Vehicles: 511 T99 Tanks 322 T96 Tanks 392 Leopard Tanks 90 m60 tanks 420 Various Towed Howitzers 72 m108 Howitzers 38 m109 Howitzers 600 Various towed Mortars 420 various apcs 754 Various Fast troop transports (Humvees, jeeps etc.)   Navy: 78,000 active personnel 350,000 Reserve 1 aircraft carrier (3 more in production) 7 submarines (2 more in production) 13 frigates (43 in production, larger project canceled due to budget restrictions) 12 corvettes 11 minehunters 7 amphibious ships 49 patrol boats 39 auxiliary ships   Air Force 112,000 active personnel 250,000 Reserve 1 Airbus A319 51 AMX International AMX 40 Bell UH-1 Iroquois 4 Boeing KC-137 Stratoliner 2 Boeing 737 10 Mirage 2000 32 Mi-35M 4 Black Hawks 32 Northrop F-5E/F Tiger II 321 su-30 jets 112 jh-11 Jets. 7 AH-64 Apaches 2 Eurofighters (50 more in production)[/hide]   The CAD Project is halfway completed. Civilian projects are going well, roadways have connected all but the most obscure amazon towns, and internal trade is booming. Exports of our solar technology is bringing in a large amount of money. Negotiations with the Angolan government have been successful, they have leased us a 12 mile bit of their coastline. Seraphi
Okay, looking at that latest map, I'd like Greenland. All the good countries were taken like, instantly. Unless there are any other suggestions of which country to take, I would like Greenland.   Assuming that Greenland is not taken, my first move would be to encourage the extraction of hydrocarbons, for sale to other nations. There is assumed to be quite a lot of untapped oil and gas under Greenland, and I would rather use that to its full potential.

Lionheart_0
Canada is feeling a bit WTF about all of these "Groups" that have formed around the World. A description of them all would be excellent.   Canada's Genetically modified plants have been a large success and it now can plant full crops as far north as the boarder of Ontario and Nunavut. Although we have these seeds, they are not in full public use yet.    Canada's environmental group is also near completion of its evaluation of the use of resources. More information later.    Also the downloading of copyright material is no longer illegal. The upload and illegal selling of such materials is still illegal though. The drinking age has been reduced to 18 for all Provinces and Territories.    Canada buys an extra kayak with a pee shooter to boost its navy. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! I don't remember all of them. There's another asian alliance of india and taiwan that is sort of against the IAC, but not violently at this point. And then there's you and the US. That's all I remember. In that case, I would like Denmark (and Iran if I can run two countries) You can only pick one. Now you have to make plans for them (like their military, economy, culture, etc.) You could also join the EC if you wanted, a defensive alliance between various European countries. Riku3220
Will the NWC meeting be at the same time everyday just reveiwing what happened over the past year?   Also the EC is willing to wait 7 years (1 week) to start using Southern Africa for rescources. Honestly if no one claims those countries by next week then they weren't going to be claimed anyways.   Or maybe we can split Africa with all of the other groups. RpgGamer
Okay, Venezuela will be the first. We're actually in the process of removing our companies on foreign ground, but the tariffs will be a good deal. Although to be honest, if we could just get a trade of food for oil, we'd be happy. We're still trying to find ways to efficiently power ships and military vehicles without oil. It's hard.   Finland, should the EC promote such aggressive imperialism, Greater Argentina will be the first to send our aid.   Luxembourg may be a small nation, however as a part of the EC we have already begun colonizing in the southern regions of Africa. Luxembourg does require large sums of manpower to achieve total domination. Luxembourg will happily open relations with Greater Argentina in the hope for borrowing troops. Unless Argentina was truly wiped off the map of course...   Israel is asking all countries that has diamonds to use me as it's main exporter. I have one of the best diamond cutting business in the world.   We can work together in Diamond Industry; folks!  If this increases how much income I get due to my diamonds, I will gladly recruit you as my diamond exporter. And as for the weapons contract, if you can provide a large supply of infintry equipment (guns, flak jackets, grenades, rations, etc) I will accept with glee. I'll even promise you a more steady diamond income in coming years :D     does anyone have a problem with me kicking the Muslims and the Christians out ? Jews can stay I control the Pope, however I will turn a blind eye to Indias new found creedist evictions. In return, i offer all refugees of this act a place to stay in my Zimbabwe colony, on the condition that they join my army and pledge their allegence to Luxembourg.     We're still waiting for a response from both Egypt and Russia.   Oh and addressing the meeting that was called on my expense (haha). I promise to slow my imperialism for the good of the game, however, I did post that I was having trouble maintaining my Zimbabwe colony. Also, Vatican City is barely a country. Without all the negotiating involved, I really could take it in a matter of months. I feel I've been fair. No one stopped me did they? But in the spirit of the game, I'll try and stick closer to realism. Can someone please acknoledge me on one of these maps now? >.< Quote  Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic.
