RpgGamer
@ reb. I agree, almost everything in this game is unrealistic. I don't really care. Also, in "playing" this, I've learned a lot more about Brazil, and various other countries, so I guess it's kind of educational. I've been meaning to learn about brazil too, since I'm part brazilian. I have to say I agree with this. Before playing, I knew next to nothing about Japan, now I know an awful lot more. I've also learnt about heavy water, tritium, and the like. Oh absolutley. I know more now about Africa than I ever did. I can locate virtually every African and European country on a map now (east Eu was tricky, and I had no idea about Africa). Not only is this fun, but it's very educational if you get into it. I'm left to ponder why Italy decided to essentially earthquake itself. Realism is fun, but why inflict such damage on your own country? I figure the OP should handle all natural disasters and who they happen to, as he has become a neutral almost god like force. Also regarding the Italian earthquake, Luxembourg sends over 90,000 citizens eager to help the relief process. The Pope also decrees that it is the best interest of all who believe in Jesus to donate some money (just $2 USD per person, non government enforced by the free will of other country's citizens) towards helping out our fellow humans. Luxembourg continues expanding into Belgium. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. The Pope decrees that it is the best interest of all who believe in Jesus to donate at least $10 USD to the cause of helping those of Italy who have suffered greatly from this horrid act of God. Also, he decrees that condoms are evil. MAKE BABIES. And thanks to the newly developed Metal Storm space station (thanks to greatly appreciated donations from around the world), the sin of using condoms can and will be enforced by religious law. So don't wrap your willy or you'll get a metal rod up your [bleep]. A big one. sohkmj1
Who has control over the country of South Africa? I want passage into those two little independant countries inside of it at a later date. By now Mozambique, is completely under Luxembourg control. With the fall of Germany, the EC seems to have taken a heavy blow. I propose that the countries remaining in the EC (meol, riku, and I think a few others) explore the rest of Europe and soak it up before someone else takes it. We could use the resources. I'll take responsibility for Belgium, and possibly another country east of Germany later. I can't invest too much into it at the moment. The Argentinian troops are begining to miss home, and have been sent in the direction of what was formally the Congo. They will perform a pincer technique when the meet up with Argentinian forces that are currently moving through the region. Hopefully taking this iniative will aid the Argentinian/Luxembourg relations enough to have co-owned mining settlements. All for the good of Catholisism! Luxembourg's bursting population has begun approaching the Belgium border, and avoiding the German border due to their messy revolution. As long as Germany is living in year 37 anyway... Other than that, I invite it back into the EC, as it is a free trade, alliance with military backup. I'll also be looking for a new power source soon for an upcoming project. Uranium looks promising. I'll also need a weapons contractor. Hopefully Isreal won't be too busy, as Luxembourg was impressed with their weapons as of current. I also could have sworn that North Korea spilled into South Korea. Oh well. Some of that may sound a bit of date, as I wrote it whiole reading the last 9 pages. My apologies if some things have already been clarified. Luxembourg's education system now specifically focusses on engineering, math, and science. Luxembourg troops are spread over the Zambian border. My explorers have found a significant amount of unclaimed European land. Now if only I had someone to co-run them with... I grant you passage if you come in peace.
Pirate_Felix
Somalia finished building their southern defences asgainst a possible invasion, and finishhed building their anti rocket rockets. Our Agricultural experts are experimenting with different crops on the Somalian land since we got enough water now, in other news, we have abandoned our old ship for an American Cruiseship, story: As we got a Cruiseship in our sights, we setted sail to the cruiseship, once at the cruiseship, we lower our sails and grind to a standstill next to the ship. The gullible americans believe our bad english and believe our ship is actually a theme ship and we get all of them to get on our ship, we swiftly jump on their ship, drugging the crew that is left with chloroform and throwing the rest of their crew on our wooden ship, we push off and we leave them, lieing alone in the indian ocean. Some fine booty came off the Cruiseship, about 1 billion in tourist luggage. Cruiseships carry a few thousand people. Why the was the average person on the cruise ship carrying 500,000 dollars in luggage. they were bankers Fine then, if we're godmodding a bit, several of the bankers on the ship were brazilian, and in response, Brazil has sent 12 frigates, and 15 cruisers to the coast of somalia to stop all future pirating. I lol'd. Hard. Let's not let this degenerate though, if one nation is being an idiot then we can all just gang up on them realistically and explode them. Latinoking
Saudi Arabia is now mine. I am now their king. Now I got the oil to support even more of my needs such as for my Eurofighters and other stuff. I can potentially not even have to trade for oil now. My military will now head to Uganda to help Japan and Iran in any need they might need. On other news, my students are coming back. They are happy how much stronger the country is. Now they will go and improve my buildings, any scientific stuff (such as continuing construction of Eurofighters etc.), and find a way to produce more crops. Looking at how much bigger we've gotten. Latinoking
Jordan has decided that as it's better to simply joined the countries surrounding them before any confrontations they simply will join the Kingdom of Jerusalem. My teachers are now on their way to improve Saudi Arabia's and Jordan's education level. Everything else is running smoothly. Some opposition in Saudi Arabia has occured but they have been quietly and swiftly been put shot down. Our scientist are now working with both Saudi Arabia and Jordan on their cars as well. Ethanol! a_bert
I'd like to suggest dating all the maps, and perhaps collecting them in one post, so that we can see the change of empires as the game progresses. Seraphi
All existing A-2 suits are now A-3. They all have a back mounted flare cannon, that was built in at the start. Iran's healthcare budget has ben increased by about 5 billion USD, and the educational budget by about 2 billion. There have been no real breakthroughs at Faroe yet. I am currently building a fifth nuclear reactor in Iran, which will come online soon. I have now manufactured around 6000 A-3 Exobreaker suits. I am sending one of my Exobreaker squads (Around 25 people) to assist Japan in his operations in Africa. This will be one of the first official field tests of the suits, and any feedback would be much appreciated.
Danqazmlp
Latinoking, you missed Germany which is now mine as of page 45 ish. RpgGamer, Germany would like to accept the invitation back into the EC, as long as the othe countries are ok with it. Year 37 - July 26th The pro-baby making propaganda in the country is going well, at least half of the female population are now pregnantt (currently still working though). Should still be on target to increase population by 10m by the year 38, after deaths, it's just a shame they will mainly all be babies... The countries baisc systems have now been established. I am curently investing heavily into research into geo-thermal energy near Frankfurt. If all goes well, we could be ready to start building geothermal stations in the next year, which could easily power the whole country and thensome, be clean, and is totally renewable. In other news, we have found the reminents and plans for the previous miliary of the country, and are in the process of cleaning off the rusty old machines, and setting up a basic military. Wisp
To whomever makes the next map: the three northeastern most south a On the space program, we have received our first shipment of heavy water, and are preparing it for use in the prototype engine. The small, prototype propulsion system is almost done. We've received a single prototype (yet functional) module from Norway. We are planning on putting the two together to build an "alpha" version of the spacecraft. Here are our plans for it. First, we need the space assembly station to be completed, we're currently constructing the parts of it. Then, we assemble the station in space. We bring the module and engine into space. We then attach the pre-fusion rockets (similar to first or second stage rockets in real life, they will fall off the ship once they run out of fuel. We use those rockets to launch us roughly 10,000 miles towards the center of the solar system. We drop those rockets, and engage the real propulsion system. If all goes well, we would reach the sun (we would not be close enough to the sun for the ship to be harmed) in good time, then use it's gravitational pull to catapult us towards the edge of the solar system, to the spot Neptune is currently in. Once we are a small distance from the sun, we use the engine again. We will reach neptune much faster than previously possible. If conditions are right, we will do a "moonwalk" on Triton (One of neptune's moons). Then, back to earth. It will be a much slower ride back since we will not be able to reach as high speeds as we did before, since otherwise we would just blow by earth completely. These are all subject to change, of course. Hegemony-Spain
Hedgehog
Lithuania has surrendered. Surprising how such a small country could hold of so long. Because of casualties, Findenland has only gained 2,500 troops. Troops have been stationed in Minsk and Kiev until word is given to attack. Right now, troops are being told to not interact with with the people of Belarus and Ukraine. In other news, the base being constructed in Murmansk is nearing completion. The one in St. Petersburg will likely take another year or two.
frakir_staer
You might want to aim for a closer target first, doom. Perhaps Ganymede or Callisto, or even Titan. Triton seems excessive, given that there are two gas giants with plenty of moons closer in. Also, you'd be close to Earth should an accident happen, which would mean less lightspeed lag for radio contact. As for Venezuela, the new Verde Soylente is a go. We are ready to start shipments to MAD. We're also looking for someone willing to sell us uranium. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man sleepy and blind in the eyes.Carai an Caldazar! The test is more about how the spacecraft holds up at relativistic speeds rather than getting to a moon. Hegemony-Spain
