Seraphi
Iran has completed a prototype handheld railgun, name undecided yet. Capable of firing an aliminium pellet at around 1760 M/S, it is incredibly powerful, but can't be used without an Exobreaker suit, otherwise the recoil would probably kill you. Also, uses a hell of a lot of electricity to fire. I am in the process of mounting it to the arms of some of the Exobreaker A-3s. I am aware that the USA had already completed a prototype railgun before the Hegemony, for use in the navy, but I can assure you, I have not taken any of their tech. rangeor
You offered me cats for a lake. I don't think the citizens of Italy will be happy when a local vacation spot is drained for a bunch of harpsichords and cats. Can you even speak Italian?! I don't know how happy the people of Italy would be with a leader that doesn't speak Italian! I'll leave now...

ThurinEthir
Wait, wasn't the rule that you could claim someone's second country? In Latios's case, this would be SK, allowing grimdeath to take it... But okay, Malaysia, sure. The combined forces of Taiwan and Singapore have liberated Malaysia from it's previous government. Trekking through the forests of Borneo was no easy task, but at last, my troops reached the city of Kota Kinabalu. As they laid siege to this city, a rebellion began in Kuching, the largest city on Borneo, and the capital of one of the Malaysian regions there. Meanwhile, a force of 50,000 soldiers was sent to western Malaysia to aid the Singaporeans, and have taken Kuala Lumpur. The loss of their capital, this new uprising, and the numerous military defeats have led the ruler of Malaysia to surrender, and with my help, grimdeath has established his new government. The hard work of the Taiwanese soldiers is not without reward, though. Talks with Singapore continue about joining my "empire." Brunei, long-time enemy of Malaysia, has gladly seen them defeated, and relations (trade) between our nations has improved. The Indonesian part of Borneo has already flipped to be under my rule, though the Indonesia ruler is not happy about this - yet he's also afraid of facing the same result Malaysia faced. Negotiations begin. Due to the weakened state of China, I am dissolving my alliance with India (which does not seem to be very active, nonetheless), and entering a period of isolationism. Internally, not much. The usage of cars has rapidly decreased, as public transportation systems have been established in all major cities, in both Taiwan and the Philippines. Research and construction on hovercrafts is being done, to improve transportation between all the islands I control. (To make it clear - I now control Taiwan, the Philippines, and the Indonesia part of Borneo) Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. Possibly for the A-2 designs. You can purchase individual units from Iran, but they're wired so that any attempt to dismantle them will cause them to break or something equally damaging to your research! @That rule about 2nd countries.. RpgGamer
Also regarding the Italian earthquake, Luxembourg sends over 90,000 citizens eager to help the relief process. The Pope also decrees that it is the best interest of all who believe in Jesus to donate some money (just $2 USD per person, non government enforced by the free will of other country's citizens) towards helping out our fellow humans. Luxembourg continues expanding into Belgium. Dude, I already told you, I own Vatican City, and thus the Pope is within my domain. The Pope decrees that it is the best interest of all who believe in Jesus to donate at least $10 USD to the cause of helping those of Italy who have suffered greatly from this horrid act of God. Also, he decrees that condoms are evil. MAKE BABIES. And thanks to the newly developed Metal Storm space station (thanks to greatly appreciated donations from around the world), the sin of using condoms can and will be enforced by religious law. So don't wrap your willy or you'll get a metal rod up your [bleep]. A big one. I lol'd. Because this was my joke. Roughly 30 pages ago, I already decreed that condoms cause AIDS and shouldn't be used, which in turn caused my population boom. Gotta read the fine print, buddy ;) Oh, and the Pope doesn't even reside in Vatican anymore. I conquered Vatican very early on, as it was it's own independant country, and no one had claimed it. The Pope has since been relocated to Luxembourg, Luxembourg where he is quite safe. By the way, I converted Vatican into a military research lab a few months ago and closed it to tourism, as I mentioned 10 pages ago or so. Anywho, Italy should be recovering quite fast from it's earth quake. South Zimbabwe has become an established military base, and can now train the local militia to be much more effective. Taxes have been raised in all colonies, Luxembourg continues to peacefully squeeze its way into Belgium. And all excess government spending has been focussed on "Project Mobile Force". Once a few more scientists graduate, this project will be thorowly (lol @ mispelling) researched enough to know everything I need to make it happen. Luxembourg is still looking for a fuel source, and possibly a second weapons dealer. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. Seraphi
What would it take to purchase the schematics of the latest exobreaker suits? Schematics are strictly not for sale. Also, tamper guards prevent reverse engineering, they must be sent to Faroe for repairs and upgrades, if you try to open them up, they will fry all of their circuitry and wiring, making them all but useless. Once the next upgrade is complete, I will begin selling schematics for earlier designs, but the latest models must be bought directly from Iran. Argentina can sell you uranium; with the conquest of Gabon we have an excess quantity of it. Luxembourg is still looking for a fuel source, and possibly a second weapons dealer. Have you thought of nuclear power? Nuclear facilities are a bit expensive, but with an constant influx of uranium (which Argentina can sell to you) it's a lot of cheap power after the facilities are completed. Talking about nuclear power, two nuclear power plants have been completed back home. Already, they power 30% of Argentina. Two more are being created in the providence of La Pampa, and should be finished in two years. Our uranium extraction in Gabon is expected to increase by 30% this year. Secondary school graduation percentages are rising to 81%, thanks to the nation's support of education. Another 20 million dollars has been given to schools throughout the country to improve their education. 10 million has been sent overseas to improve the education of the Gabonese and Congoese people. Also, 21 million dollars has been used to set up hospitals and other medical facilities in our African countries. The super aircraft carrier, El San Martin, has been completed! It weighs roughly 740,000 tons and can carry 80 aircraft and transport 5400 troops and 98,000 tons of cargo. 12 new TA64 tanks have been produced, along with 15 self-propelled artillery vehicles. Our military has 170,000 troops worldwide with 30,000 in Africa, with 10,000 of those specifically guarding Congo from the crimelords and Rebels in the jungle. The other 105,000 (35,000 in Luxemburg's possession) are stationed back home, awaiting for the next assault. How exactly is a handheld railgun powered? Unless you've developed a nuclear reactor that fits into a gun, I doubt that thing would work. Also, recoil would be different than a normal gun, since in a real gun, the gases released from the propellant are pushing it forward, but in a railgun, the magnets are pulling it forward. I haven't taken many physics classes, so i don't know what difference that would really make. Okay, I hadn't thought of the recoil thing, but it could be powered by a battery pack attached to the back of one of my suits? Of course, it wont be able to fire much before needing to be recharged... As for the recoil, wouldn't a projectile moving that quickly have some effect on the air both in front and behind the pellet? I'll check into it.

a_bert
Late in the year... MILITARY PERSONNEL/EQUIPMENT: After the huge success of our new naval units, one more nuclear submarines have been commissioned as well as two more aircraft carriers. The Japanese army now has 550,000 fully trained personnel, with 80,000 soldiers still in training. Furthermore, 20,000 soldiers are undergoing advanced training involving Exobreaker suits. MILITARY/DIPLOMATIC CAMPAIGNS: Nairobi surrendered with no blood shed when the Iranian/Japanese army appeared on it's doorstep, and Kenya is now fully under Japanese and Iranian control. 20,000 troops are completing their training here, helping to police the land while the few rebels attempt to cause some trouble. The majority of the Japanese army presses on immediately into Uganda, hoping to scare the government there into peaceful surrender. If not, with the new A-3 suits in Japan's arsenal we expect to have the smaller country subjugated to Japanese rule within a year. For now, I think Japan is controlling Kenya. Iran is using it as a military base. I think this is what's going on, anyway. INFRASTRUCTURE: Pollution levels in Japan are at an all time low, resulting in a reduced strain on our public healthcare system. The money is being used to increase the standard of Japan's hospitals. CC15 continues to grow, it's inhabitants having risen to 120,000 people. The population overall having grown by 400,000. Papua New Guinea is flourishing under Japanese rule, the education system is producing some bright young minds there. The number of aids and malaria related deaths in Japan and Papua New Guinea has dropped by almost 300,000 since Japanese intervention. 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I! Danqazmlp
January, Year 38. Germany has now got the schematics for 4 massive Geo-thermal power station, to be built south west of Frankfurt, north of Dresden, West of Hannover, and one close to Berlin. Drilling and construction should begin early in Febuary. With the hard work of the new united people, building these four should take no longer than 3 years, as long as there are no complications along the way. Hopefully they will produce enough power for the whole country, and thensome. The baby-making propaganda was a larger success than first expected, with 11.5 million childeren born this year. They will all progress through into society through our high quality schools, but i will be keeping a close eye on 3million of the males, for...later use... This year's main plans are to bolster the countries military.
