But I have one thing to say....how can they afford it? They have like 10 programs in beta, and still remain to have everything free. Over 2.5gb of storage for anyone? How can they afford that?! AD

September 28, 200520 yr Heh, I'll never forget those pics on one of the first google sites, where they showed off their equipment. Should have some of those around somewhere, one of them was of a case partly made of lego... Somehow I think their servers have gotten a bit more extensive in those seven years... ~Edit: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.google.com. The archived version of 1998 seems to be down, but otherwise it's a nice overview of the evolution of google over the years.
