Not to keep bugging you or anything... :-w

I should have posted this in my last post (I didn't notice at the time) but in the spreadsheet, Cadantine is spelled incorrectly.

I really do like your guide, I swear I don't come here just to nit-pick. <3:

It had been a long time since I had done anything but herb runs and your guide has provided all of the information I needed to get back to doing tree/bush runs.

Thank you!

On a side note; you may like this picture I drew the other week. I just pretty much copied the small one and added a few little details. (I have a slightly improved + better quality version with just the bird if you would like it)

30 herbs per run seems to be on the very low side unless you do only four patches. I average (a lot) of profit with torstol, which puts my average harvest at 35 or so. Otherwise, good guide. Shame I don't need it with assists + 50k xp from torstol per day :D.

This is where you say it, btw:

You should get about 30 herbs per run on average.

Troll patch isn't worth it anyway.

Yes it is... Stonewall tested it, if it isn't worth it, don't bother with frosts either.

Really really liked the guide!! read through it once then went through the parts I needed again. I before only did herb runs to four spots in a slower order with more banking, I can't wait to get home and try all these new methods out, I'll bring my subpar 79 farming to 90 in no time :D. Out of the entire guide, I only have one sinker question! What are those berries in your invetory and what are they used for?? In the picture where your prepared for your tree run? Message me pretty please =) I probably will forget to come back for a reply :( Amazing job! Btw I also went through your mining guide, helped me immensely as well!

Just came by here to point out using the fertile soil spell (with some kind of earth staff) is actually cheaper than supercompost at current prices. So it saves inv spots, is cheaper and gives magic xp, compared to supercompost.

Hey zaaps just reporting back after two full runs following your orders, managed to get over 60kexp both times in under 30 mins each run :) I'm not even utilizing a bush spot or the trollheim herbs ( due to business). Thanks much I'll come back again once I've mastered it!

For those who have completed Fairy Tale pt. III, there is another method to get to Harmony Island.

Using the Fairy Rings, with the code DIP, you can get to Mos le'Harmless.

This takes you to K'chuck's Island. You need to repair two bridges (one on Mos le'Harmless and one on K'chuck's Island). It takes 8 planks, 16 nails, and a hammer to repair them both.

[hide=K'chuck's Island]

To get to Brother Tranquility, it's a long run, past some level 70 Jungle Horrors. I got hit twice running past them all.

What does that accomplish, though? Sorry if I seem rude, but I don't see why anyone would want to consistently go to the Harmony Island patch.

I have been doing loads of farming lately; 5-7 herb runs, 3-4 bush runs, 1 fruit tree run and 2 tree runs per day. However, I'm having major trouble with the fruit tree patches. I farm those at around the same time every day (around 10 AM), but quite often, they are not fully grown when I try to harvest them 24 hours later. Then my fruit trees fall out of sync with my trees, and I have to spend more time farming. My question is; how do you deal with the problem of your patches growing out of sync?

Also, you should really add in the herblore habitat update. The Juju farming pots add 33% more harvest to your herb runs and if you don't do the habitat regularly, you can even use the fruit tree patch for 1 more patch in your tree/fruit tree run.

I'm probably going to add it sometime, but not at the moment.

For fruit trees, have you tried adding supercompost?

Even if you are paying for protection(for the trees) they can still get diseased but the farmer will heal them. The farming tick is lost though so that's most likely why they take longer to grow.

Update: 27 herbs from a single patch so far. I had to note them twice before finishing :P. Was a 71 herb run in all, my second so far.

Grr, I'm currently in a bad sprea, 5 dead torstols in 4 trips, though 44 herbs twice in a 1-dead-torstol-trip (even broke even with the 2-dead-torstol trip cause of rising torstols). My best in one patch is 20 I believe (though I've had 19 before juju pots).

Hello, I now have 87 farm, running almost identical routes =) thanks again for a great guide.

Not sure if this is mentioned but when harvesting fruit trees/calquat/bush/mushies/cactus' you can spam click the plant and speed pick your product, it can shave 40-45 seconds off farming trip!

You may want to mention that after Love Story, house teleport tablets can be chipped to Trollheim too. You need to do a small miniquest: Go to east Keldagrim and search the bookshelf in Runvastr's house. Take his diary to the Wise Old Man and you will be able to chip Trollheim tablets. Good for Lunar Magic!

Edit: 28 herbs and a seed from a SINGLE PATCH. <3: torstol.

I decided to start an actual personal analyse for this, now after 30 runs:

survival rate (this excludes the my arms patch): 0.857

with juju

average herbs per patch: 8.714

average herbs per living patch: 9.843

calculating could give then the "naked" herbs per patch:

no juju

average herbs per patch: 6.536

average herbs per living patch: 7.382

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.
