Assuming velociraptors can't swim, I'd live on an aquatic city for the rest of my life, or until someone kills them off, which seems unlikely.

 

Fish for food, desalinate sea water to drink, and solar panels for energy.

Complete fail. Alright, say you manage to reach the base. How do you plan on stealing a well guarded helicopter? Do you even know how to operate one?

Knowing how to fly a helicopter isn't that amazing. It isn't even that hard to do. Besides, the military base should have a helicopter training simulator so you could learn.

actually flying a helicopter is very difficult, and you wouldnt have time to learn in a simulator. sims take hundreds of hours to get it right. pilots are constantly using sims for a reason.

I doubt he could fly a military helicopter, they're a lot more advanced than civilian models. But I know pretty much how to fly a plane, my uncle owns a little stunt plane type thing and taught me. I don't have my license though.

 

Helicopters are a lot more complicated, but it's not impossible for someone to know how to, obviously.

 

I've never flown one, but in a life/death situation, I could probably fly a helicopter. Well, I'd probably end up crashing but the idea of it is simple. Your left hand (or right, depending on the setup) controls your height, your right hand controls whether you're going forward or backward, or side to side, and then the pedals let you steer.

As for the topic: assuming "all" kinds od dinosaurs have returned, I'd sit and wait for them to kill off each other the way they did 65M+ years ago. I think the bigger predators would't mind us puny humans, as there are bigger species to feed on. As for their limited intelligence: I think we could outwit/outgun them if it would be necessary.

Maybe if we would be able to steal one of their eggs and keep it warm, we could domesticate one which would defend us from other raptors.

They CAN swim. Although the distances may vary depending on things such as currents, or even water predators. They cannot swim out into the middle of the ocean, as even raptors get tired. But a stream, or lake, or maybe just off the coast, they can manage.

Have you got any proof cos I know some birds can kind of swim and I know alot of lizards and snakes can swim but it doesn't mean that raptors can.
