Finished Jad challenge finally a space holder since I lost my last cape woot, shame the healers respawned twice third time I couldnt touch or it'd be task over :@

How well did turmoil+soul split work? Is it better than ranging? :P

somethign a little more on topic then the fact that a lvl 3 that should not even have 99 slayer cant get the cape(which is just fine with me)

 

i was killing dark beasts and this happened.

 

i hit a 35-5 with deflect melee so im guessing since dark beasts cant hit 50 that the +4 damage counts also towards the damage done be deflect.

 

here is a pic i got testing just standing there letting it hit me till i hit 5 with deflect prayer.

 

 

 

not a big deal just a little better then those constent 1's without the ring on.

have not tested this but when ranging i wounder if you can hit 10's if you have deflect magic on does that count with the fire blast from metals if so =0 that would rock when ranging them b/c the ring give+4 to your range hits as well.

1 Hit the 90s frequently hally too slow, even with hitting 50s on 360s and occasional 3 hitting with specs, I still got bitten twice by running too close :P

I like this and I think it's good for many people, but most of those monsters I would prefer to go to their other locations. Irons and Steels would be the only guys there I'd slay there.

I got my task from Lapalok, Abyssals, why should I not be allowed to use the new area to kill the creatures, simply because of my choice in Master?

So meleeing the caves with soul split is easy now? Could you explain me your tactics briefly?

This must be for you people with "home worlds" and hating to change serves. I honest have no problem finding a world with no or one person slaying Abbys. On another note, I might do Blue Drags there too. Taverly can be a little crowded sometimes.

The whole point of the update is to give added incentive to use a higher level slayer master. The new area is a form of "reward" for doing something that will take longer. Adds different reasons to different things...otherwise the "best" slayer master would just still be Lapalok. Now theres more of a choice. I like the fact that we are rewarded for going to a more difficult master.

Actually, looking at Kuradal's task list, it seems to be little change from Duradel/Lapalok's list, maybe a mix between Sumona/Duradel, however, she does have an optional, harder task, taken by choice.

i have a feeling that this ring might have a wealth like effect. my reasoning is that i have had allot of the extremly rare but junk drops from slaying today in the cave.

 

so far this task alone(207 dark beasts) i have gotten 45 law,67 nats, rune spear, and dragon stone) i do believe all those are on that extremely rare wheel and i have never gotten that many of them in one task before. either that or i have had allot of luck this taks.

isn't the amount of slayer xp recived from killing a monster is calculated directly from the HP of the monster? (if I'm not mistaken 1.33xp*HP of monster)

 

P.S. I am intersted if the new ring affect the slayer xp you get from the monster

TzHaar-Kets = 140 Slayer XP

TzHaar-Xils = 120 Slayer XP

 

Those are the only ones I've been killing so far.

I know this is off topic, but can someone tell me how to fix that fairy ring at waterfiends?

Slayer XP is normally just the monsters HP, which is why it's a challenge to get 99 untrimmed since you get 1.33x their HP experiences in hits.. It varies for higher monsters however, and things like the DKS.
