bongo_man
The slang phrase I most frequently use is, "What's good?" whenever I see any guy friends of mine I haven't seen in a while. Other then that, I don't use anything else. I don't know where the hell "dun kno" and "styll" came from, but I find those ones annoying =\ [If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

TTanT
Well, yes. Although I tend to insert mroe online slang into my sentences than normal slang. I also enjoy out dated stuff, such as "Get crackin'!" I also use slang that I've made up, but that generally results in confusion. The Dark Lord
I use some Ebonics when I talk. Like I might say "Yall' or " 'scuse me?' or "Hell naw Boy!" Y'all isn't Ebonics... ---------- I try not to use slang, but I do notice that I drop some letters (especially the 'g' in '-ing') from time to time. I'm really conscious about it, so I try to refrain from doing so. I have a Southern US accent, but it isn't as pronounced as a lot of people would expect it to be. It's sort of a mainstream American accent fused with a Southern accent; it's actually quite a nice accent. It isn't as dry as a mainstream American accent, and it isn't heavy like a rural Southern accent. A lot of people speak this way in the metropolitan area of central Arkansas. In more rural areas, you'll find people pronouncing things like 'yeller' for 'yellow' or 'piller' for 'pillow'. Older people will also use archaic terms such as 'yonder'. It gets sort of interesting if you read about the history behind the accent. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. tripsis
I use the occasional slang word or phrase here and there, but I don't think I use many. I'm usually pretty proper when I talk. Well more proper when I type, because when I talk I feel like I don't have as much time to think about what I'm saying, so sometimes it just comes out as gibberish. archimage_a
Apart from Gonna rather than Going To I don't think I use any slang at all... However I know that a Britsh person can say I got completely [insert almost any word]ed last night and other British people will know what they mean they got Trashed, Battered, Brollyed, Slaughtered, Wasted, Gazeboed, Whacked, Booked, Penned, Gattered, Smashed, Gashed...strangely the one word is doesn't work with is Drunk itself. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. dsavi
It depends on which language I'm speaking. If I'm speaking English, I use almost no slang at all. What you see me type here is pretty much my English speaking style. When I speak Swedish, however, I mix in large amounts of Finnish and English, drop letters, use slang words and incorrect grammar. :) When I write it it's correct. When I speak Finnish (Incredibly rare) I speak like a book and it sounds silly because nobody doesn't use slang in Finnish. archimage_a
Fairly sure that was a joke, but my grammar senses are tingling. "When I speak Finnish (Incredibly rare) I speak like a book and it sounds silly because nobody doesn't use slang"Should be "When I speak Finnish (Incredibly rare) I speak like a book and it sounds silly, since nobody refrains from slang whilst speaking it."Or"When I speak Finnish (Incredibly rare) I speak like a book and it sounds silly, because nobody speaks Finnish without using slang."Or"When I speak Finnish (Incredibly rare) I speak like a book and I sound silly because, in Finnish, everyone uses slang." I think. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
