January 25, 201016 yr Is it me, or are the idiots with Bullroarers in the GE starting to really wind people up? This is not a rhetorical question by the way!! I don't see why I should have to turn my sound down just because some Noob is being a complete prat. Sould Jagex block them from being used in conjested spaces, such as the GE?

January 25, 201016 yr Author I don't see why I should have to turn my sound down just because some Noob is being a complete prat.Because I do it. You should know better :)
January 25, 201016 yr I havent experienced it , but im guessing jagex will end up making them unusable in banks 26M Crafting XP
January 25, 201016 yr If there's enough RSOF-style complaints it'll probably be changed so that you can use it only in the quest area/Kharazi Jungle. I hope not though, I've use it once or twice in less crowded areas just for fun.But I've only really been bothered a couple of times, it's not a widespread problem so far. :) Want to help the Tip.It Crew? January 25, 201016 yr there's a lot of fuss on the rsof about them, i don't see the problem but then again i don't have my sound on. I don't know why other players need to hear them in the first place anyway dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.
January 25, 201016 yr This has been a supposed problem for a long time. I foresee no changes. Turn down your area sounds - they have no use except for TDs and Penguin Hunting. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
January 25, 201016 yr Personally, I find it hilarious. I only use my sounds for TDs and perhaps a new quest. I just get a kick out of all the non-questers' demands to know what it is. Even after being exposed to long periods of roars it never ceases to amuse me, but then again I just find it funny how people in Runescape make their own norms and mores. The minute someone breaks one, somebody gets frustrated. Click Here for a Common Sense Dungeoneering Guide
January 25, 201016 yr Oh, good old bull roarer, I love it. I always like it to put on my sound just for hearing a serenade made by a bunch of people standing together. Really, after a while, it seems like you're hypnotised. XDI know once that it caused major lag around GE and caused a lot of people disconnect, and that's indeed a sad point. But apart from that, learn to live with it I say, there will always be persons who find it amusing, just for the fun, or for annoying people. :P
January 25, 201016 yr Dear Jagex, Remove chat. People are using chat to say things I don't want to look at, and sometimes those things are mean (someone called me a nub in the GE). I know that there's an option to turn chat on to friends, or off completely, but I shouldn't have to inconvenience myself for a short period of time when we can simply take something that people enjoy and remove it completely because a tiny minority are abusing it. In conclusion, please remove all forms of chat. Including Quick chat. I also expect to see all accounts banned because some players cheat, therefore the best course of action is to ban everyone. Thank you. Signed,Cautiously Suspicious.
January 25, 201016 yr They do annoy me a little, but I just turn volume down until I leave the GE usually or just ignore it since I know I won't be there long. Only takes a couple of seconds to turn sound off and back on again. :s [hide][/hide]
January 25, 201016 yr are you all talking about the glitched or the unglitched sound?i had to find that glitch  on topic, i dont mind much if people use it in the ge or something like that, i just turn my aria-sound off, although it gets very very very anoying for the few seconds that it takes my to turn it off :angry:although i still think it should be stoped. I'm a Brony and proud of it!

I wouldn't mind if they silenced it in the ge, but I'd hate to think they'd silence it altogether. I love old quest items that can be used after the quest. When I have reason to be in port phantasmys, I frequently wear my glowing sheet. I also wear the octopus hat from the latest penguin quest. They went to all the trouble to make those quest items -- I'm glad we can still use them (even though they're really starting to clog up my bank).
January 25, 201016 yr I have never ever used the good old 2-bit audio, so I could care less. :P FairTraders.net (Merchant Guides + Grand Exchange Update Notifier)Get FREE Grand Exchange updates through the website, by email, or through your mobile device!
January 25, 201016 yr Roarers, unite! If you click on the bull-roarer and then immediately follow someone, you will end up making the sound indefinitely until the person moves. You don't have to keep clicking after that. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
January 25, 201016 yr The sound is no more annoying than any other sound in Runescape. In short, CRY MOAR. I find the sound peaceful and it helps my concentration. And I agree, chat should be removed in all high-concentration areas because it causes a lot of lag in W2 and the GE for ppl with junk for computers.
January 25, 201016 yr I see how you find this annoying but I never spend enough time where noobs gather for it to be a big issue
January 25, 201016 yr I don't even know what that is, so it hasn't bothered me at all. Is it a familiar or a pet or something? LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. [01:24:34] CJ Hunnicutt: it takes skill to be that [bleep]ing stupid
January 25, 201016 yr I don't even know what that is, so it hasn't bothered me at all. Is it a familiar or a pet or something? It's an item from Legends quest, which when used, makes an animation of you rocking it above your head (it's kind of flail-like) together with a load sound, which very many finds annoying. Because of this, a lot of people tend to use this in high crowed areas as the ge, at pest control, sw, other crowed banks and similar.
January 25, 201016 yr Its a quest item from legends which when clicked on causes the character to swing it above his/her head and makes a weird noise Noobs: We pay we sayJaGeX: How much will you pay?
January 25, 201016 yr I've heard lots of people repeatedly dropping and picking up platypi (platypuses? platypodes?), it's almost as bad. They really need to find a way to stop sound spam. Only three or four swings permitted per minute, maybe? Or not being allowed to swing it in crowded public places like the Grand Exchange. If you jump into a river in Paris, you're insane. If you jump into a river in Egypt, you're in denial.
