I'm sure it is. I haven't been on, but there is always a gun that is OP and will be used by everyone. BC2's gun was the M-60...that thing was a beast.

 

It's used a lot in tight matches, like the ticket hall of Operation Metro, the crate area of Noshahr Canal, or the Alleyway of Grand Bizzarre, but it's not very versatile. It's a shotgun, after all. And now that Christmas has passed, I've noticed a much higher frequency of people below Rank 20, which is great for me because these suckers don't have Helo/Jet IR flares yet :twisted:

EDIT: don't you just LOVE when you are piloting an attack helicopter and randomly get killed by a javelin with NO lock on noises or incoming alerts?

If you let a guy go 41-1 on Noshahr Canals in a Littlebird you're doing something wrong. Those things don't even have a secondary gunner with flares. I can't imagine it being hard to take down even of your own.

Battlelog says 60 kills. It's same issues you have the PP2000, once you get extended mags on it, it's a descent gun.

Littlebirds/z11s (i guess the transport hellis as well) with engineer(s) repairing on the side seat are [bleep]es to take down. My squad and i were using citv/guided shells on norshal canals, and a couple times the littlebirds were able to take a guided shell hit and we knew they didn't have ecm jammer since we saw them pop their flares. Maybe they had engineers repairing? It was a good thing our z11 wasn't being worthless and was cleaning house on any littlebirds my squad and i missed.

 

That is so stupid...I understand that engineers in the copter should make it later a little longer, but not survive that onslaught.

Apparently they are reducing the speed of the repair torch in the next patch, so that might not be a problem much longer.

The littlebird had an engineer repairing the entire time, and the one time I managed to take it down (on the fourth base), I had to kill him first. He had flares too, and every time we'd get a missile in the air, he'd pop them and then fly away really far, wait for them to reload, and then come back.

 

They need to nerf flares, not the repair torch. Like I've said before, if jets/helicopters have infinite flares, engineers should have infinite AA missiles. Especially given that if they pop flares, you lose your lock on before even firing.

how about 3 flares each life? i cant remember how much ammo the launchers have but 3 flares a life seems fair

....k so i put the game on, go to spawn and i notice my loadout isnt the same, its been [bleep]ing reset back to the original loadout you start the game with.

 

now i have to spend 3 mins ranting and 3 mins putting my loadout right, why does this shit always happen to me ;_;

Even WITH teamwork, all the pilot has to do is fly off in the distance far enough to be out of lock-on range/have enough time for flares to re-arm while the missile is in the air. Plus we aren't talking about JUST helicopters.

they should make it so if you set up a morter in a area when enemys cant get to (like your spawn in rush) then it triggers a 5 second count down to put the morter away. or you die . or just make it so you cant set up a morter in those areas (also MAV's)

Or just take out your own mortar and aim it at the massive red mortar symbol on the map. Easy kill. Most people never move when they spam mortars.

What they need to do is take off that massive mortar symbol >.> and make smoke trails more easily noticeable so you can reasonably guess where they are.. Such crap that someone can just take out your mortar with another all because you automatically appear on the map.

Or remove the piece-of-shit mortar.

Spent tonight playing squad deathmatch with randoms, with the intent of unlocking the L85A2 (which I did, love it already). Hated deathmatch at first but once you get a squad that actually works together it's amazing. Played 9, won 6. The 3 losses were my initial 3 games where the squad I got put in was either getting humped already or there wasn't a full squad. The squad spawn system really shines in SDM.

just found out you can hold (not cook) nades on 360, press LB then hold fire down, let go of fire when you wana throw it.
