February 6, 201016 yr I'm playing it now, But i might end up ditching it if it ends up taking away too much of my time. I try to limit the games that i play. P2p: 135 F2p: 124 as of July 29, 09.P2p: 137 F2p: 126 as of September 25, 11.
February 6, 201016 yr Yeah I'll play it every now and then. I didn't particularly like it in the beginning, but I gave it a chance and I find it's actually quite nice to play every now and then :) [insert birds flying in a circle here]Yes, that sig was annoying.
February 6, 201016 yr i wont play it because: 1. it's just one of those "log-on every hour to click a few things" kinda games (you know what i mean :P) AND 2. The way you have to pay (real money) to get specific items, I hate how companys use this method of moneymaking nowadays (the person that's the richest (irl) wins)
February 6, 201016 yr Any game where you can buy items for real money or "Donations" as they might call it to make it not sound it's all about the money, is a fail game. So War of Legend is fail from my view. Besides, if one wanted to play strategy games, you could buy a better game and play online.
February 6, 201016 yr No. I tried it but after a while stopped when I realised that I'd tried something almost the same before. There are far too many games of this type available. The only way to get anywhere in this type of game is to spend lots of money. In one I joined recently the top player was boasting that he spent hundreds of dollars a month to keep his top status. TBH I am disappointed that Jagex have put their name against such a game.
February 7, 201016 yr Yes, I have been playing since day 1 of Beta. I like that I can log in once or twice/per day then walk away. Seeing that I am " Semi-Retired " from Runescape why not play it.
February 7, 201016 yr I think you guys are putting too much emphasis on money. The most important thing in these types of games is having a strong alliance that coordinates well. Money helps though.
February 7, 201016 yr Nope, I tried it for one hour and was very disappointed with it. Definitely not a game for me. If it is going to be RTS, gimme some CnC. :)
February 7, 201016 yr I like it a lot, but I find that I have too many games to play and it is one of my lesser priorities, so for now I like it but I'll probably stop playing by the end of the year.
February 7, 201016 yr I did play for awhile. I was getting near the top and having alot of fun until they "Reset" the accounts(After stating they would not) and thus I didn't decide to "Re-Build". I don't think I'll be getting back into it :(
February 7, 201016 yr It's just another evony/empirecraft/kingory clone to be honest. I'll play it for a bit and then quit. I dislike the notion of paying for an ingame advantage. Honestly I'm shocked Jagex put their name to this as they have historically been utterly against being able to use real money to gain an in game advantage in their games. Seems very much unlike the jagex we've come to know. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]
February 8, 201016 yr Looking at it, it looks like a 12th to 14th century type of game with the design of the 1990's game play. No way I'm playing that. It looks horrible. 99 FM Acheived on Friday December 26th 2008Click for my blog|Mass Effect Discussion Thread|Nation Creation/Create your own Country Forums
February 8, 201016 yr No. I was hoping for something fresh and new and it just ended up being another Evony/Kingory/Travian/Civilisation clone with the same "free forever" bs requiring you to pay loads to get anyhting worthwhile :( No its too generic a game from first glance while I hear you have to pay for stuff which is something I deadly loath.. Play plenty of other stuff though. Yea I dislike games that force you to pay to get the good stuff. This game is exactly like evony and the numerous rip offs. I realize that Jagex didn't create this game and is only publishing it, but I'm still disappointed. I'll probably play it until my village is attacked and my 3 villagers die and village taken over by an active player, then I'll go back to skilling on Runescape.
February 8, 201016 yr No I won't. And they made it really unfair for noobs, since you have too buy that stupid freaking horn too even talk too somebody.

February 9, 201016 yr I played evony, hithere.com, and a few others that strangely were all very similar to each other. Anyone who played evony knows the sort of problems it had when it was first released. Poor customer service, players not getting items they paid for, servers going down, super slow load times and proported malware etc.. It was an effin joke as far as quality gaming goes, and this type of game ranks of evony all over again. Call it Evony version x.2 if you will. I am shocked and surprised that Jagex made the decision to publish this game. Have they had their heads in the sand?? Do they not know how many gamers came to despise Evony because of the cheap adverts flaunting scantly clad females which had absolutely nothing to do with the game, and the lousy service? Or do they know something that we don't? Is this type of game THAT popular?? I just don't get it. In my opinion this is an epic fail for Jagex as far as investing in a game that will turn out for the long run. To me it seems like Jagex is out for the quick buck, which is strange as I don't perceive them as that type of company. At least I used not to, but with a move like this, one wonders... :???: And oh yea, one last thing. PAY TO CHAT????? :shame:

February 10, 201016 yr I'll look into their new "Buy Your Advantages" game as soon as they let me buy or give me a Snowglobe on Runescape. This might be one of the least interesting signatures on the forum. Sorry.
