Well, you will have after undergoing the process of ‘Familiarisation’, the act of mentally projecting yourself into the spirit plane. The druids of Taverley need people to undergo this process and then gather resources from the spirit plane (from which the druids create spirit shards), all the while avoiding the resident familiars. Summoning pouch components or (temporary) triple charm drops are up for grabs for any who lend their brain. Like with other D&Ds, you’ll first need to find out where it is, for which your best bet is having a chat with Pikkukstix in Taverley. He’ll be able to give you some indication of the location of his new apprentice, Pikkenmix. This will typically be at whichever Summoning mini obelisk is currently ‘active’, through which you’ll be able to project your mind once per week. Mod MazRuneScape Content DeveloperQueen of the Squirrels Summary:Where to start Familiarisation: Look out for any small Summoning obelisks that are sparkling. If you have trouble finding one, Pikkukstix in Taverley will give you a rough idea of where to look. Requirements to play Familiarisation: There are no requirements to play Familiarisation, not even having to complete the Wolf Whistle quest. You can partake in Familiarisation once a week. In other news... The Guthix balance (unf) potion now has a make-all option (as does adding garlic to stat restore potions). The bone key from Shilo Village can be obtained again if you destroyed it. Speak to Yanni for a replacement. The staff of light can now be lent out. [hide]The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. Awkward Talking Fish
Wow you're fast. I already saw this too. :P "You can choose between a blessing that grants you luck with charm drops or to receive some ingredients to use in infusing summoning pouches. If you choose lucky charms, for up to the next forty minutes of in-game time" pretty cool, eh?

Orc
I thought you said you wern't going to be awake to get the update first this time smelly :P Looks quite entertaining, i'd like it to be more then 20 minutes once a week but then i supposed it'd be overpowered with triple charm drops as a reward. bored321
A summoning DD that gives a maximum of 40mins of triple charms a week. <_< I would rather have them make summoning more useful, rather than making it easier to train tbh. But hey not gonna moan about a hundred or so extra crims a week. Awesome you can now lend SOL  Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig! Me_Hate_Libs
I'll likely take the items over the charms as I have a ton of charms anyway. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.

Kalafai
gee, looks as though you can totally fail and still get the full 40 minute charm bonus... might be nice to hit before slaying something already pretty good for charms.
Ollyc3
So Summoning is the next skill in line to get made significantly easier, wonder whats next. 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
Peronix
This looks... really boring. A summoning minigame that you can do... once a week? Lame, really lame. When they said there was going to be a summoning update, I didn't expect this.

Nope. for up to the next forty minutes it will depend on how many shards you collect. on the same principle as all the other DD's Thanks Gradeskip93 for my awesome sig! Racheya
This sounds really good. Summoning is a nightmare to train, getting some free seconds or extra charms with a D&D should be good  I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator]. Maxingmck
Maybe the reward is 1230989234k spirit shards or 40 mins of charms =o Noobs: We pay we sayJaGeX: How much will you pay?
Me_Hate_Libs
So Summoning is the next skill in line to get made significantly easier, wonder whats next. Well, you get some charms for 40 minutes. That's okay, but not really going to make it much easier or cheaper. The items will make it slightly cheaper for a few pouches, but still need your charms. It's not going to make it that much easier. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
