If he says the apprentice is resting that means he's done with his 30 minutes at whatever location he was at and now you have to wait for 2 hours for him to go someplace else? That makes no sense whatsoever but I was just there on w99 and that seems to be the situation. Just wanted to see what the reward would be for 99 summoners.

February 16, 201016 yr To me it's much different than penguins. Even though it's once a week, you can get the hints any time you want and you can find the penguins continuously. So that's a bad analogy. Evil tree is more similiar but that is twice a day and easy spot to check if you want. Even gives you a time frame. Plus, the tree is different because other people's participation effects the reward. Anyway, i'ts seems like it might be good to get the rewards for someone like me if it's a quick thing to do but otherwise, not so much. And does he rest at the same time on every world? Seems like it since I hopped a few and found him relaxing in every one of them. That's also different from Evil Tree!

It's not exactly the same as both and has all the mechanics of both combined. Like Pengs, it's once a week and gives you a vague hint, which is similar to evil trees and their vague hint, and that are also every two hours.
