3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion

Arcane and spectral have crashed and easters are looking bad now so expect a dump soon.

 

 

 

Divine and elysian are currently on a rollercoaster they have crashed multiple times today and rose a few times.

 

 

 

Either way all spirit shields are now buyable in the GE some have crashed hard already. Have fun and make sure to stick to what you feel you want to pay if you are buying one.

Partyhats are doing extremely well, but either Jagex is rising their price of they changed the sell amount for a rise on them so they are rising often and will hit their stable price soon.

This whole craze for edible rares on the RSOF is making me sick. A bunch of people bought them and now claim that they are like 50m a piece, when nobody even cares to buy them for that much.

 

 

 

And with the rest of the expensive item market dropping, the excess cash will go into partyhats. I don't see them slowing anytime soon.

Yeah, Dragon Bones were one of the things that got hit hard by inflation, and probably manipulation at the same time.

 

 

 

99 Prayer or just high Prayer in general is fairly rare because of its price, making it a big far off goal for many players.

 

Since money 'was' so easy to get from PvP, many people started buying it. The same goes for Bursting/Barraging to train Magic; rune prices soared.

 

 

 

If you're actually asking what will happen now then I can't give you a definite answer. I think the prices will fall quite a bit due to panic and people trying to get as much cash as they can (by selling items) because they think that 26k'ing is completely dead, therefore killing their largest source of income, meaning they will try to save up because money will be harder to get now. Even though 76k'ing with good friends is still feasible...

 

 

 

Of course the people who know the old saying darkest before the dawn will be buying some or even a lot of these crashing items for when things do clear up and people start wanting them again.

I got 74-99 Prayer off D Bones that were about 1.3k ea :thumbsup:. Then Piety comes out like 2 weeks after I got my 99, forcing the price up to 1.8k. I wonder if things like Addy Bars, Oak Planks, and Green Hides will also fall.

I was looking to get a 3rd Age Range top because Armadyl is too common at Castle Wars. Does anyone know how that's faring? Or has all 3rd Age begun to drop?

Third age range crashed the worst and can be bought for 75%+ junk and cash.

 

 

 

On another note: There is already someone who uses 3rd age range at castle wars and has been doing so since it was very rare.

I'm thinking of buying a phat but I have no idea on what the street prices/market for them is, can someone give me a bit of information of how much i'm going to be spending/how much they actually are (looking at the cheaper party hats).

It entirely depends on what partyhat you want. First you should try and get one via the GE which will be tough but it's doable. If not expect to pay atleast 30M over mid price and you'll have to get very lucky to buy one with junk unless it's a bad crashing item like AGS and claws were.

Right now the market is on a yoyo because of the two contradicting updates in 2 days >.<. Alot of people are buying gwd, dfs, claws and other somewhat higher end items hoping for more big raises in price, when a few people start selling another mass panic and probably when you should try to buy back any high level armor

Basically with the Pvp update of autoskull and no pro item it caused mass dumping by people who only bought those items to pvp with. Then they added +1 worlds and suddenly those items could be used in Pvp again causing people to try and rebuy them. Merchants saw this and cabbaged onto them causing a huge buyout coupled with natural demand. They will crash again soon no worries, these prices are temporary.

Spectral, elysian, and divine are bought out again. Arcane is doing very bad atm selling for over 50% junk and cash. Elysian and divine arn't going to last much longer due to their price tag.

 

 

 

All 3rd age besides plate and legs has crashed after the recent buyout. The only reason 3rd age keeps getting bought out is so merchants can sell their stocks instead of holding it as unsellable junk. Merchants without partyhats are having a very hard time successfully buying out anything these days.

 

 

 

Easters are going to crash soon also.

Third age melee plate and legs currently sell for max but that won't last for long.

 

 

 

You'd be better off trying to make money to buy the 3rd age than getting ti via a clue.
