Every weapon except spears are halved in damage when hitting corp. Because of this, no weapon is as good as spears on him, despite the speed or stab bonus.

 

Also while talking about spirit shields, I've been noticing Elysians have been gaining about 20M in the GE every 60 days or so. This shows promising for the long run of the shields value. At that current price increase, Elysian's street value will equal the GE value, and be buy-able on the GE, sometime in the next 16 months if not sooner. I image the closer and closer it gets to street price, the faster it will rise.

1gp street is not equal to 1 gp ge value.

 

junk isn't worthless: you can get rid of it loosing some ge value, rarely more than 50% though, unless the junk is horrible. Therefore street value has a higher number than its equivalent true value (if the ge was more dynamic and the market prices changed quicker). Any item reaching "street price" on the GE has had a real increase in value of at least 20-30% of the junk's value (as junk always updates lower than last update).

 

It's likely that the sheilds are buyable on the GE when the street value is about 15-20% higher than the ge value to an extent. we have to consider other market fluctuations in the real values of the shields though: that's not going to be static for over a year :D

Halberds too. :thumbup: I think the limitation is that no weapons other than two handed stab weapons and magic spells have no damage limitation (I need to check hastae), so the only changes to make corp easier in future is a crystal halberd/chaotic 2h stab weapon.

 

I think it's a glitch personally. :P

 

At stuff like onyx rings, there's no point in selling mine as their GE price will never go to their "True" value, and the only to sell it would be exchanging it for other items in the same situation. They're not any money, they're just traded for other items in demand. I don't normally post here but thought I'd add to the topic rather than just posting about corp.

Bought 3rd age kiteshield for 99.5M a few days ago instantly. You'd think 3rd age would have a HUGE street price because they're extremely hard to get from clues o_O oh well, I'm keeping mine, I love it to pieces.

Magic isn't reduced to half damage if I recall correctly also

3rd age is relatively common nowadays and considering they're getting more common, its becoming more dubious

whether they will maintain their high prices. I'm not bursting with confidence that 3rd age will repeat it's trend like the phats today.

I personally wouldn't hold on to them for too long unless you really want to. there are other convenient shields out there.

What is divine street? I know ely dropped quite a bit in street, but a long term goal of mine is to upgrade ely-> divine. I could always get like 10 onyx, if I had to.

Has the non-spear 2 handed+stab thing been tested at all? Could try checking halberds and....flail? I think that has stab.

~25m-30m. Seems to be independent of the quality of junk, too. They were the same price when crowns were down to 30m, and crowns are ~45m now and the robes are still the same.

My thoughts as well, either people have lost confidence or there are some extremely patient merchanters out there. This is the longest they've been down in a while, with previous dips people hopped on them as soon as possible.

well, now that santas have 2 consecutive updates down, they may be "crashing" as people panic, even hoarders (or those with more than just a couple) will sell some. the question is when the right time to buy is for the most profit when they rise again.

 

I thought about selling a santa when they updated only + 1,3m a couple days ago, just to feel like i was doing something, didn't though. noow i could have rebought for a tidy profit :P oh well, can't guess all the market prices.

 

Crowns are updating very strangely, up a few k, then multiple hundred etc.
